Rugby

England lock Joe Launchbury says they are "desperate" to end the Test series against South Africa on a high at Newlands this Saturday afternoon.

The Red Roses have already surrendered the series after losing the first two Tests in Johannesburg and Bloemfontein.

I personally think they (English) will win the match as the South Africans are complacent with the 2 wins in the bag.

Hope everyone has a great day. Scammers and Trolls toorolling on the floor laughing

Time is running out.

Many 'South Africans' s now living abroad still have property and farms in SA which they rented out for a small amount or basically just asked family or friends to watch over it when they decided that this country was no longer fit for them.
The Gauteng government wants to “immediately” expropriate without compensation privately owned land lying idle.
Premier David Makhura said the province was completing an audit of all unused privately owned land to test the Constitution instead of waiting on the parliamentary process currently reviewing the property rights clause of the Constitution.
“There are tracts of land, others just being used for speculation, other land parcels have been abandoned by landlords living overseas waiting for one day to sell the land to developers at huge profits.

I think this is fair.

I also think that this situation is an ideal time for an enterprising entrepreneur to start a business where it will find appropriate tenants or occupants to occupy some of these properties at a handsome fee, (houses, Blocks of flats, hotels, prime farms etc.) while the owner makes a plan to sell or whatever he/she thinks fit so as not to lose totally on the deal..
Many pro's and cons to take into consideration here.

Is this a bad idea or will one pick up too much flak from the government?
Personally I'm not interested in this but know of people that are.

Rusted old bike

It's not time to make a change,
Just relax, take it easy
You're still young, that's your fault,
There's so much you have to know
Find a girl, settle down,
If you want you can marry
Look at me, I am old, but I'm happy

Africa Day

On Africa Day, the continent celebrates diversity and independence.

Africa Day commemorates the day on which 32 independent African countries formed the Organisation of African Unity (OAU) in Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa, in 1963.

Here are 10 things you might not know about Africa.

1. Over 1 billion people call Africa their home, making Africa the second most populous continent.

2. Africa’s total size is about a fifth of the Earth’s total landmass. The continent is larger than India, China, Mexica, and USA’s and a huge chunk of Europe combined.

3. Arabic is also the most widely-spoken language and Islam is the dominant religion in Africa.

4. On the languages note, there are over 2 000 recognised languages that are spoken on the continent.

5. Nigeria is Africa’s biggest oil producer and the world's fourth largest oil exporter.

6. Africa has the largest desert in the the world. The Sahara is bigger than the continental USA.

7. Before Africa was colonised, the continent comprised up to 10 000 different states and autonomous groups. They had distinct languages and customs.

8. There are over 1 million Chinese citizens on the African continent.

9. The diverse continent has the youngest population in the world, with over half of the population under 25 years old.

10. While Egypt is renowned for its pyramids, Republic of Sudan actually has 223 of its own pyramids. This is
double the number of pyramids in Egypt.

10a. Africa is not totally a 'shithole' continent. grin

Horses that were once the pride of the South African Infantry.

JOHANNESBURG – The National Council of SPCAs (NSPCA) was "horrified" after it had to put down 25 horses belonging to the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) because the animals were starving to death, the council said on Monday.

The animals were in the care of the SANDF's South African Army Special Infantry Capability (SAASIC) unit.

In a statement, the NSPCA said its inspectors found the animals "in such an emaciated condition or compromised state of health that to prevent their further suffering they had to be destroyed".

Its Sunday !! Smile.

A cab driver picked up a nun.
She got into the cab, and noticed that the VERY handsome cab driver wouldn’t stop staring at her.
She asked him why he was staring. He replied: “I have a question to ask, but I don’t want to offend you.”
She answered, “My son, you cannot offend me. When you’re as old as I am and have been a nun as long as I have, you get a chance to see and hear just about everything. I’m sure that there’s nothing you could say or ask that I would find offensive.”
“Well, I’ve always had a fantasy to have a nun kiss me.”
“Well, let’s see what we can do about that: No. 1, you have to be single, and No. 2, you must be Catholic,” she responded.
The cab driver, very excited, said, “Yes, I’m single and Catholic!”
“OK,” the nun said. “Pull into the next alley.”
The nun fulfilled his fantasy with a kiss that would make a hooker blush.
But when they got back on the road, the cab driver started crying.
“My dear child,” said the nun, “Why are you crying?”
“Forgive me but I’ve sinned. I lied and I must confess; I’m married and I’m Jewish.”
The nun said, “That’s OK. My name is Kevin and I’m going to a costume party"
