Defense Secretary Mark Esper: US Won't Start a War with Iran, But Would Finish One

The Pentagon is calling on Iran to come to the negotiating table and abandon plans for retaliation following a deadly strike on Iranian Quds Force commander Maj. Gen. Qasem Soleimani earlier this month.

Defense Secretary Mark Esper told reporters in a Pentagon briefing that the U.S. still sees an option to avoid war with Iran, but is "prepared to deliver a forceful response to defend our interests."

"As we defend our people and interests, let me reiterate that the United States is not seeking a war with Iran," he said. "But we are prepared to finish one."

Military officials have alleged Soleimani was planning an "imminent" attack on Americans when he was taken out by a Hellfire missile fired from an MQ-9 Reaper drone at the Baghdad airport. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo declined to provide specifics about the planned attack in a State Department briefing Tuesday. But Esper said it was fair to characterize the planned attacks as "days away" at the time of Soleimani's death.

Judge Roy Moore

Some of you may be wondering what Alabama Judge Roy Moore has been doing since he was removed from the bench for refusing to remove the Ten Commandments from his courtroom wall. The following is a poem written by Judge Moore. Judge Moore was sued by the ACLU for displaying the
Ten Commandments in his courtroom foyer. He has been stripped of his judgeship and now they are trying to strip his right to practice law in Alabama ! The judge's poem sums it up quite well.

America? the beautiful,
or so you used to be.
Land of the Pilgrims' pride;
I'm glad they'll never see.

Babies piled in dumpsters,
Abortion on demand,
Oh, sweet land of liberty;
your house is on the sand.

Our children wander aimlessly
poisoned by cocaine
choosing to indulge their lusts,
when God has said abstain

From sea to shining sea,
our Nation turns away
From the teaching of God's love
and a need to always pray

We've kept God in our
temples, how callous we have grown.
When earth is but His footstool,
and Heaven is His throne.

We've voted in a government
that's rotting at the core,
Appointing Godless Judges;
who throw reason out the door,

Too soft to place a killer
in a well deserved tomb,
But brave enough to kill a baby
before he leaves the womb.

You think that God's not
angry, that our land's a moral slum?
How much longer will He wait
before His judgment comes?

How are we to face our God,
from Whom we cannot hide?
What then is left for us to do,
but stem this evil tide?

If we who are His children,
will humbly turn and pray;
Seek His holy face
and mend our evil way:

Then God will hear from Heaven;
and forgive us of our sins,
He'll heal our sickly land
and those who live within.

But, America the Beautiful,
If you don't - then you will see,
A sad but Holy God
withdraw His hand from Thee..

Maxine Waters Gets Duped By Fake Greta Thunberg Claiming She Has Dirt on President Trump’s Dealings

Low IQ Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA) got duped by notorious Russian pranksters, Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov — AGAIN.

Russian pranksters Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov, who go by the stage names Vovan and Lexus, trolled the hell out of a woman who identified herself as Maxine Waters and convinced her that Swedish green teen activist Greta Thunberg had dirt on Trump’s dealings with Ukraine.

These same pranksters tricked Adam Schiff into believing they had nude photos of President Trump that could be used as blackmail.

The fake Greta Thunberg along with her ‘father’ get on the phone and convince Maxine Waters into throwing her support behind an island that doesn’t even exist.

“What’s the name of the island they are targeting?” Waters asked.

“Chunga-Changa,” said the pranksters.

Maxine Waters falls for it and goes on a three-minute rant addressing a non-existent audience, throwing her support behind Greta’s work to protect the island of “Chunga-Changa.”

Greta Thunberg’s ‘father’ then divulges to Waters that he has some confidential and damaging insider information on Trump’s dealings with Ukraine from Greta’s meeting with Trump at the UN.

“ said to her, ‘You know, little girl, nobody believe you anyway, I will tell you the truth. I really pushed on Ukrainian president and you know that you will never achieve your goals like those congressional fools that accuse me,” Greta’s ‘father’ said to Waters.

“Oh my God, he mentioned the Ukrainian president?” Waters responds.

We are experiencing the heartiest economy in history.

The richest 500 people in the world added $1.2T to their net worth in 2019 -- a 25% increase over the previous year.

At first glance this might be seen as a bad thing. But the truth is rising tides lift all ships.

We are experiencing the heartiest economy in history.

More money.
Super low unemployment.
Record investment values.
Higher wages at all levels.

Americans in general are a generous tribe. The restaurant servers in my merchant services portfolio tell me tipping is the highest they have ever seen.

Plus, the outlook for 2020 is upward from here.

Feeling blessed beyond measure in spite of the media doomsday whinings.

May your 2020 be over the top.

Stay Juiced and be well my friends!!!!!

Welcome to the Roaring 20's!!!

Overwhelming Majority Of Americans Believe Their Lives Will Improve In 2020 Due To Strong Economy

America is looking forward to the future again.

A new poll finds that 80 percent of Americans believe their lives will get better in the coming year, and it’s all about the economy and Trump.

The Democrats and their friends in the media may not understand it, but average working people do.

A USA TODAY/Suffolk University Poll this month asked Americans if they thought things would get better or worse in their own lives in 2020. By an overwhelming 80% to 11%, they predicted their lives would be better. That optimism stretched across demographic lines, although men had a more positive outlook than women (83% vs. 76%) and Southerners a more positive outlook than Midwesterners (84% vs. 74%).

In follow-up interviews, those surveyed often mentioned the strong economy when asked what’s ahead for them.

“My life’s going pretty well,” said Alex Foss, 28, a construction inspector from Lakeland, Florida. “I’m under 30, and I’m making more money each year.” He sees fellow millennials in his neighborhood buying homes and starting families.

By about a 3-to-1 ratio (63% vs. 22%), those surveyed also predicted things would get better next year for their communities…

Asked about the country’s prospects, respondents tended to mention President Donald Trump.

Amy Locklear, 45, a retired teacher and Army veteran from Maxton, North Carolina, said she’s optimistic as long as Trump stays in office. “He gets things done,” she said. “I just want someone who does what they’ve promised.”

This is definitely a big improvement.

The Washington Times reports:

High marks for the Trump economy

President Trump’s economy is a resounding success — so far.

Economic growth has averaged 2.6 percent — the Bush and Obama presidencies together posted less than 2 percent. Historically low unemployment is promoting greater racial and gender equality.

Wages are advancing at about a 3.7 percent annual pace after falling to 2.5 percent during the final years of the Obama presidency. Gains are increasingly flowing to lower income Americans and minorities, as blue collar industries like construction and maintenance face shortages of workers. The president’s apprenticeship program is opening new high-paying opportunities across the economy for non-college bound youth.

In November, women rose to fully half of all non-farm employees. In 2018, women opened businesses at nearly twice the pace as during the prior six years, and college women are shifting in greater numbers to once male-dominated higher-paying college majors. Those should do a great deal to substantially reduce the gender pay gap.

None of the Democrats running in 2020 could even come close to this kind of success and they know it.

Impeachment Backfiring: SECOND Democrat Leaves The Party In 24 Hours

State Senator John Yudichak of Luzerne County, Pennsylvania said that he will be switching his registration to become an Independent. He will caucus with the Republican majority.

Yudichak has criticized an increasingly liberal Democratic caucus that has led to this decision.

Due to issues that he finds important, Yudichak believes there is a better home in the Republican caucus.

Yudichak’s announcement comes less than 24 hours since we learned that New Jersey Democratic Congressman Jeff Van Drew has also made a decision that speaks volumes.

Van Drew has strongly opposed the Democrats’ impeachment efforts. After meeting with President Trump, Van Drew is now leaving the Democratic Party and becoming a member of the Republican Party.

Politico reported, “Van Drew’s congressional and campaign staff were informed he was planning to switch parties on Saturday…

“The question was now when, not if, Van Drew was joining the Republican Party, according to several Democrats with knowledge of the ongoing conversations.”

A top GOP source told Politico that “Van Drew reportedly met ‘at length’ with Trump on Friday and his decision to switch parties is supposed to be officially announced in the near future.”

Yudichak reflected on his situation, saying, “This is unique. I’m an independent. I’m going to be fiercely independent. I’ve been independent by nature, now it’s going to be by party.”

“Republicans hold 27 seats in the 50-seat chamber, with one solidly Republican district temporarily vacant until the winner of a Jan. 14 special election is sworn in” Washington Times reported. “Counting Yudichak and the vacant seat, Republicans will likely have an effective 29-21 majority next year.”

In 2016, Yudichak’s home county, which had long supported Democrats, flipped unexpectedly to support Trump over Democrat Hillary Clinton.

While his Senate district has a heavy Democratic registration advantage, it bore the hallmarks of Trump country: it is whiter, with lower median incomes and lower rates of college-degree attainment, than the rest of Pennsylvania.

The Christmas Truce of 1914

On Christmas Eve 1914, in the dank, muddy trenches on the Western Front of the first world war, a remarkable thing happened.

It came to be called the Christmas Truce. And it remains one of the most storied and strangest moments of the Great War—or of any war in history.

British machine gunner Bruce Bairnsfather, later a prominent cartoonist, wrote about it in his memoirs. Like most of his fellow infantrymen of the 1st Battalion of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment, he was spending the holiday eve shivering in the muck, trying to keep warm. He had spent a good part of the past few months fighting the Germans. And now, in a part of Belgium called Bois de Ploegsteert, he was crouched in a trench that stretched just three feet deep by three feet wide, his days and nights marked by an endless cycle of sleeplessness and fear, stale biscuits and cigarettes too wet to light.

“Here I was, in this horrible clay cavity,” Bairnsfather wrote, “…miles and miles from home. Cold, wet through and covered with mud.” There didn’t “seem the slightest chance of leaving—except in an ambulance.”

Then the singing started

At about 10 p.m., Bairnsfather noticed a noise. “I listened,” he recalled. “Away across the field, among the dark shadows beyond, I could hear the murmur of voices.” He turned to a fellow soldier in his trench and said, “Do you hear the Boches kicking up that racket over there?”

“Yes,” came the reply. “They’ve been at it some time!”

The Germans were singing carols, as it was Christmas Eve. In the darkness, some of the British soldiers began to sing back. “Suddenly,” Bairnsfather recalled, “we heard a confused shouting from the other side. We all stopped to listen. The shout came again.” The voice was from an enemy soldier, speaking in English with a strong German accent. He was saying, “Come over here.”

One of the British sergeants answered: “You come half-way. I come half-way.”

What happened next would, in the years to come, stun the world and make history. Enemy soldiers began to climb nervously out of their trenches, and to meet in the barbed-wire-filled “No Man’s Land” that separated the armies. Normally, the British and Germans communicated across No Man’s Land with streaking bullets, with only occasional gentlemanly allowances to collect the dead unmolested. But now, there were handshakes and words of kindness. The soldiers traded songs, tobacco and wine, joining in a spontaneous holiday party in the cold night.

Democrat Impeachment Witness Pamela Karlan Takes A Shot At Barron Trump

Democrat Impeachment hearings getting more and more sleazier. Listen to what this scumbag Democrat witness say's. Just when you thought this impeachment hoax couldn’t get anymore ridiculous, the witness invited by Democrats is throwing cheap shots at the 13 year old son of Donald Trump. Gross and shameful!

Stanford Law School Professor Pamela Karlan, an impeachment witness for House Democrats, took a shot at President Donald Trump’s 13-year-old son, Barron Trump, during the House Judiciary Committee’s impeachment hearing on Wednesday. The attack spurred intense backlash online.

While talking about the differences between kings and presidents, Karlan said, “So while the president can name his son Barron, he can’t make him a baron.”

‘Impeachment Fiasco’ Is Good for 2020 Election

Candace Owens, who founded Blexit, says the “impeachment fiasco” is good for President Donald Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign.

More and more moderate Democrats are waking up to the fact their party stands for “damaging America as a whole,” she told Breitbart News.

“I see the silver lining in that, I think it’s great for Trump,” said Owens.

Owens spoke to thousands of young conservatives at Turning Point USA’s fifth annual Student Action Summit in West Palm Beach, Florida.

She said, “I think that it’s going to definitely give him a lot of energy when he’s at rallies.”

“We’re going to hear it over and over again — the impeachment fiasco,” Owens added.

“Not from the left, we’re going to hear it from Trump himself, because it’s great for him, it really shows how little they care for the American constitution, how little they care about the American people, and just how deeply hateful they have become.”

“They have effectively gotten nothing accomplished in the three years that he’s been in office, and they’re just purely focused on hating him and trying to destroy the fabric of America in the process.”

“I think it’s going to help him, and that’s going to lead to a landslide.”

“Because as I’m seeing, more moderate Democrats are waking up to the fact that they really don’t recognize their own party — it’s not for freedom, it’s for damaging America as a whole.”
