When Does It Count as a Coup?

Freedom is not our norm. In the history of mankind, and even today, oppression and political corruption are the standard, with the people of more than 90 nations living without the freedom we take for granted in America.

Thomas Hobbes was right. Unless we decide, together, to live in peace under a mutually agreed upon and respected social contract, life is invariably nasty, brutish, and short.

But the question for us who live in the freest nation today, is at what point would we say—with justification—that we have lost too much of our liberties and that our nation is being stolen from us right now? Would we even realize if there were a concerted attack on our freedoms? Or, like the proverbial frog in hot water, would we only work out what was going on once it was too late?

As a warning to those who think the Left can never turn back the clock and that our freedoms always increase and never diminish, here is a warning. Not only are we living in the most divisive time in the republic’s history since the Civil War, but we are also right now witnesses to an ongoing plot to subvert the duly elected President of the United States.

Here are the incontrovertible facts:

Under the Obama Administration, CIA Director John Brennan and FBI Director James Comey initiated Operation Crossfire Hurricane, the first-ever counterintelligence operation in America history targeting a presidential campaign.
During the operation, the CIA and FBI deployed multiple human intelligence assets to attempt the entrapment of members of the Trump campaign and link them to Russia.
Knowing it would be illegal to spy on Americans without a crime having been committed, or without even the predicate of a crime, John Brennan circumvented the Constitution and used British intelligence to target Obama’s and Hillary Clinton’s political adversaries.
Clinton and the DNC paid millions of dollars to a former British spy, Christopher Steele to manufacture an opposition research file using Russian propaganda in order to smear candidate Trump.
Comey’s FBI and Loretta Lynch’s Justice Department used that propaganda dossier to obtain secret surveillance warrants illegally from the FISA courts to spy on members of the Trump campaign, illegal because the FBI and the Justice Department deliberately hid from the FISA judges exculpatory information as to the political origins of the dossier and the political agenda of Christopher Steele.
The DNC itself sent a Ukrainian American, Alexandra Chalupa, to the Ukrainian embassy in D.C. to coordinate further smears against candidate Trump.
The National Security Agency’s unparalleled surveillance capabilities were repeatedly abused by contractors to spy on the Trump campaign, contractors who weren’t even allowed to access NSA databases, until Obama’s NSA Director Mike Rogers took it upon himself to warn President-elect Trump of the operation against him.
Peter Strzok, head of the FBI’s counterintelligence division, planned an “insurance policy” to knee-cap the Trump Administration should Clinton lose the election, a plan he bragged about to his mistress Lisa Page in texts over government devices. That insurance policy would become the Mueller probe.
After the election, General Mike Flynn, President Trump’s new national security advisor, was framed for a process crime by acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe, who asked Flynn to meet with his agents for an interview without warning him that he was under investigation, or warning him of his rights under interrogation, telling him he had no need for counsel during the meeting.

Kangaroo court, jackrabbit impeachment

Peggy Noonan's piece on the impeachment needle moving against President Trump is still drawing a lot of criticism for her claim that "of course" Trump will be impeached and public sentiment is turning against him.

I was a bit less angry about it than most, because, as I noted here, her forecast is highly conditional, premised on a very big 'if' that the plan will only work if Democrats conduct impeachment in a fair manner, with open and honest proceedings.

They aren't. Thus far, fairness is a nonstarter, and as word of the sneaky and rigged one-party impeachment by leaks process gets out, some polls show the negative public sentiment toward Trump is actually starting to dissipate. The needle is starting to move the other way, actually.

Democrats don't have a case againt Trump, and never did, any more than they had a magic bullet against Trump with the Mueller investigation.

One thing leaps out, rabbity-like: The speed with which their impeachment hearing is being conducted. They don't have any real 'crime' here yet they're desperate to prove one anyway.

Axios yesterday an excellent chart showing how quickly the impeachment process is moving against Trump compared to other presidents. I didn't have time to ask them for permission to use the chart, so click on to their site to see how stunning the timelines are. They report:

For Richard Nixon, it was 599 days for the inquiry.

For Bill Clinton, it was 260 days.

For Trump, well, Trump got 11 days.

Which firstly shows that embittered Democrats still fuming about 2016 have been like dry tinder, rushing to judgment in their quest to overturn the 2016 election.

But it's not just their rage fueling this micro-timeline unconcerned with getting all the facts, either.

The Federalist had an excellent report out by David Marcus pointing out that they were proceding at breakneck speed because of political concerns - they're terrified a delayed impeachment trial will interfere with their Iowa caucus prospects. Take a look:

According to multiple news outlets on Monday, House Democrats have conceded that they are very unlikely to conclude their impeachment inquiry and vote on articles by Thanksgiving, their original preferred timeline. They cited scheduling difficulties and new evidence of potential wrong doing by the White House as main reasons for the delay.

Democrats now say that they hope to be ready for a vote by Christmas, but waiting that long to resolve the matter in the House and send it over to the Senate is rife with problems, which was why Democrats wanted it to be wrapped up by Thanksgiving in the first place. If articles of impeachment were passed near Christmas, the Senate would be unable to begin a trial until inside of one month before the Iowa caucus on Feb, 3rd.

With 5 of the top Democratic contenders serving currently in the Senate, an impeachment trial could badly gum up the works in the Democratic primary.

According to the New York Times, Rep. Hakeem Jeffries addressed the delay by saying, “Just the facts, baby. If we tell that story with simplicity and repetition, the American people will understand why the president must be held accountable. If we don’t then there is great uncertainty, and in that vacuum Donald Trump may find himself escaping accountability again.”

Asylum Orderlies Return Hillary Clinton To Padded Cell Disguised As Oval Office

WASHINGTON, D.C.—According to sources close to Hillary Clinton, the failed presidential candidate was gently returned to her padded cell disguised as the Oval Office over the weekend.

After the failed presidential candidate had escaped from the premises again and accused thousands of people of being Russian agents, orderlies were finally able to catch her and guide her back to her cell. She had escaped through the ventilation ducts, apparently, and quickly gave deranged interviews in which she seemed not to understand that she hadn't won the 2016 election. She also found a smartphone and tweeted troubling things, causing asylum personnel to put out a call for her safe return.

"If anyone sees a crazy-looking old woman running around saying she's the president, do not approach her. She is very dangerous," the mental institution said in a statement. "Please phone the authorities right away so we can get her back to safety."

Finally, someone spotted her screaming at a Costco sample lady, accusing the poor woman of being a Russian asset, and authorities arrived to haul her back to her cell.

"Come on, Hill, right this way," said one medical assistant, tenderly guiding her down a hallway to her custom cell. "Time to go back to your ce---err, your office."

Clinton tried to resist, insisting that she couldn't go back to the Oval Office right now as she had a trip scheduled to meet with some foreign leaders. "Yes, OK, dear, that's fine. That's just great. Why don't we have a little nap and then we'll meet with the foreign delegates later, OK, hon?"

For Nearly 200 Years, the Democrat Party Has Presided over Destruction of Black Life in America

Editor Jerome Hudson spoke at Turning Point USA’s annual Black Leadership Summit (BLS) in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, and told an audience of hundreds of young activists that “there’s a political awakening happening in America and it’s being led by young free thinkers like you.”
“The left tells lies,” said Hudson, “people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and Barack Obama, they’re all race hustlers and victimhood vendors. You see they called America racist. They called capitalism racist. These people even said that personal responsibility is racist. Hell, everything, to them, was racist.”

But the truth is — racism is nearly nonexistent in America today. There’s so little racism [in America], that people like Jussie Smollett have to stage hate crimes — the truth is that the political left has a monopoly on bigotry in America. The Democratic Party is the Party of the KKK. They are the Party of lynching. They are Party of Jim Crow. The Democratic Party is the Party of slavery. And now the Party of slavery is the Party of repetitions for slavery?

“We all know that for nearly 200 years, the Democratic Party has presided over the destruction of black life in America,” said Hudson. “And the numbers don’t lie — are we not supposed to add up all the many ways that leftist policies that have left people like us in a worse state?”

“Their constant support for Planned Parenthood has resulted in the destruction of millions of black lives in America,” he added. “For decades, they’ve tried to replace the natural role of the black two-parent household.”

“Enough is enough,” affirmed Hudson. “Today, our message to the race hustlers is this: you had your chance, you did not lead, and now we will.”

Hundreds of black conservatives have gathered in Washington, D.C. for the three-day event featuring speeches by prominent leaders in the conservative movement today, such as BLEXIT founder Candace Owens, syndicated radio host Larry Elder, and TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk, among others. Attendees also met with President Donald Trump on Friday at the White House.

Hudson also talked about Breitbart News founder Andrew Breitbart, who used to tell people at events — just like BLS — to get out their cellphones and harness their power as citizen journalists.

“You see, the left is afraid of you, because they know that you’re dangerous, and so they try to silence you,” explained Hudson, “but you are powerful because you’re vocal. And trust me, I know the price that you pay for being a young, black freedom fighter.”

Hudson concluded by offering attendees three suggestions regarding how they can “help free more minds” in today’s political climate.

“Love and support each other’s journeys,” he said. “Have each other’s backs — and remember that as young leaders, it’s your responsibility to help illuminate the path forward.”

“The second thing is, know the facts,” continued Hudson, who then encouraged attendees to read conservative news outlets, rather than just going to the establishment press for information. “Arm yourself with the informational weapons that you will need to win ideological battles on your campus.”

“The third thing is this: have fun,” said Hudson. “Be happy warriors. Take it from me, there’s nothing more that pisses off the left more than a joyful, black conservative.

“And always remember the lesson that history taught us long ago,” concluded Hudson. “Evil wins when good people remain silent.”

Democrat Field Narrows To Fake Indian, Corrupt Old Man And Basically Dead Guy

The excitement of the Democrat presidential race is heating up as the field narrows down to the make-believe Indian, the corrupt old man and the basically dead guy.

Senator Elizabeth Warren seems to have taken a substantial lead with her signature strategy of blending an energetic, professorial persona with complete dishonesty and a socialist agenda that would leave the American economy looking like one of those burned out cities in Gears of War with the gigantic wormy monsters exploding up out of the pavement and devouring everything in sight, then returning to their offices at the IRS.

At a recent rally attended by 150-thousand wildly cheering complete idiots and college students, but I repeat myself, Warren said, “As someone who has pretended to be a minority for career advantage my whole life, I understand the struggle of black people like Justin Trudeau and Virginia Governor Ralph Northam. And as a woman who lied about getting fired for being pregnant to make myself seem a victim when, as an American woman, I’m really among one of the most privileged categories of human being on earth, I think I understand how feminism works as well.”

Bernie Sanders, meanwhile, tried to showcase his socialist philosophy by having a heart attack and then insisting he be taken to Cuba for the free health care. He’s gotten back on the campaign trail, though some reporters have noticed he’s now made of wood, and the guy standing next to him moves his lips when Sanders speaks.

Joe Biden held his latest rally under a bus, where he’d been thrown by House Democrats who have developed a brilliant new plan to destroy Donald Trump by exposing Biden’s lifetime of nepotistic cynicism and corruption.

As for Donald Trump himself, he is taking advantage of the weak Democrat field by climbing to the top of the Empire State Building with a screaming blonde in one hand while he swipes airplanes out of the sky with the other.

Who among us is not looking forward to 2020?

4 Corrupt Families Of California ~ Newsom, Brown, Pelosi & Feinstein

The connections date back at least 80 years, to when Jerry Brown’s father, Pat Brown, ran for San Francisco district attorney, losing in 1939 but winning in 1943, with the help of his close friend and Gavin Newsom’s grandfather, businessman William Newsom.

As mayor, Newsom became nationally recognized for ordering the distribution of marriage licenses to same-sex couples. And the shop with the mop sink upstairs, PlumpJack Wines, grew into a line of successful restaurants, hotels, and wineries managed by Newsom’s sister, Hilary.

A Times review of campaign finance records identified eight of San Francisco’s best-known families as being among Newsom’s most loyal and long-term contributors. Among those patrons are the Gettys, the Pritzkers and the Fishers, whose families made their respective fortunes in oil, hotels and fashion. They first backed him when he was a restaurateur and winery owner running for a seat on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in 1998, and have continued their support through the governor’s race.

They are not Newsom’s largest donors: The families in total have given about $2 million of the $61 million that donors have contributed to his campaigns and independent committees backing those bids. But they gave while he was a relative unknown, providing crucial support to a political newcomer in the years before his campaign accounts piled high with cash from labor unions, Hollywood honchos, tech billionaires and donors up and down the state.

Gavin Newsom is succeeding someone who could be considered his quasi-uncle, since his inauguration continues the decades-long saga of four San Francisco families intertwined by blood, by marriage, by money, by culture and, of course, by politics – the Browns, the Newsoms, the Pelosi's and the Gettys.

Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) defeated businessman John Cox (R) in the general election on November 6, 2018, for governor of California.

President Donald Trump (R) endorsed Cox and former President Barack Obama (D) endorsed Newsom in the race. The forecasting outlets Ballotpedia covered rated the race either Safe Democratic or Solid Democratic in the month leading up to election day.

Fast forward two decades. Gov. Pat Brown’s administration developed Squaw Valley for the 1960s winter Olympics and afterward awarded a concession to operate it to William Newsom and his partner, John Pelosi.

The Squaw Valley concession was controversial at the time and created something of a rupture between the two old friends.

William Newsom wanted to make significant improvements to the ski complex, including a convention center, but Brown’s Department of Parks and Recreation balked. Newsom and his son, an attorney also named William, held a series of contentious meetings with officials over the issue.

An eight-page memo about those 1966 meetings from the department’s director, Fred Jones, buried in the Pat Brown archives, describes the Newsoms as being embittered and the senior Newsom threatening to “hurt the governor politically” as Brown ran for a third term that year against Ronald Reagan.

After Newsom retired from the bench in 1995, he became administrator of Gordon Getty’s own trust, telling one interviewer, “I make my living working for Gordon Getty.” The trust provided seed money for the Plump Jack chain of restaurants and wine shops that Newson’s son, Gavin, and Gordon Getty’s son, Billy, developed, the first being in a Squaw Valley hotel.

Yet the early hand he received in politics and business continues to form the basis of criticism against him. Newsom’s opponents in the mayor’s race painted him as privileged and out of touch. In the gubernatorial contest, former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and Treasurer John Chiang, both Democrats, are beginning to do the same.

Hunter Biden, What a guy!!!

Hunter Biden has quite a story.

The Wall Street Journal reported in October of 2014 that the Vice President’s son, Hunter Biden, was released from the Navy for cocaine use.

There was no stopping the Biden’s however. A couple months later, young Biden was on the Board of the largest gas and oil company in the Ukraine making $50,000 a month, an exorbitant amount for a Board member at any company. According to Business Insider –

In April 2014, Biden’s son Hunter joined the board of Burisma Holdings. Hunter served on the board until early 2019.
At the time, a news release from the company said Hunter would be “in charge of the Holdings’ legal unit and will provide support for the Company among international organizations.”
Hunter told the New York Times that the news release was not accurate and he was never in charge of the company’s legal affairs.
He joined the company about a month after Russia annexed Crimea, a cataclysmic moment that continues to put the US at odds with Russia and is linked to ongoing conflict in eastern Ukraine.
During his time with Burisma, Hunter reportedly received compensation up to $50,000 a month.
From the start, Hunter’s role at Burisma was criticized by ethics watchdogs as a conflict of interest for his father, who was still vice president at the time and heavily focused on pressuring Ukraine to do a better job rooting out corruption. But some ethics watchdogs at the time also said that unless there was clear evidence Hunter got the job to influence US foreign policy then there was no cause for concern.
His hiring by Burisma was seen as an attempt by the company to bolster its image and the perception it had strong ties to the US as the world vilified Russia for its annexation of Crimea, the Times reported.
Yoshiko M. Herrera, a professor of political science at the University of Wisconsin at Madison and an an expert on Russia and Eurasia, told The Washington Post: “I think there is a conflict of interest even if it doesn’t break any laws. It’s a big deal. It’s the vice president, who is the point person of the Obama administration’s policy on Ukraine, and his son is suddenly hired to be a director on the board of Ukraine’s largest private gas producer.”
With that said, Hunter has never been accused of wrongdoing regarding his work with Burisma.
Hunter also said he only had one brief conversation with his father about Burisma which did not go into substantive details about the deal. Joe Biden has said he learned about his son’s role at the company from news reports.
Hunter Biden’s ex says he spent all of their money on prostitutes and drugs.

And he left his wife for an affair with his deceased brother’s wife.

What a guy! And this is only part of his story.

Muslim Book Store

So, I was walking through Chicago and I saw that there was a 'Muslim book store'. I was wondering just what exactly was in a Muslim book store so I went in. I was wandering around, taking a look when a clerk stopped me and asked if he could help me. I imagine I didn't look like his normal clientele so I asked 'Do you have a copy of Donald Trumps book on U.S. immigration policy regarding Muslims and illegal Mexicans'? The clerk said “GET OUT GET OUT AND STAY OUT” I said “yes that's the one. Do you have it in paperback?

RNC Raising Money To Help Democrats Televise Five Debates A Week

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The Republican National Committee has launched an ambitious fundraiser to help the Democrats televise a debate every weeknight.

The move is expected to drum up significant support for the Republicans, not on their own merit but on the wackiness of the Dems.

"Look, it's tough for us to raise money by just saying the same talking points we've been using for years," said RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel. "Frankly, a lot of our policy positions are kind weird and not all that conservative. But if we can just let the Democrats talk for hours every night, we're sure to win."

The RNC is looking to raise over $100 million for the campaign strategy.

Proposed debate topics include The Evils of Capitalism: A Town Hall, When Should You Force Your Toddler To Change Genders?, The Merits of Men Beating Women In MMA, and A Bidding War on Taxes: How High Can We Go?

At publishing time, Republicans had raised enough money in the first hour of the fundraising campaign.

Officiating in the NFL at an all time low

Last night in Green Bay the officials bad calls made the difference in a football game.

The Lions had other things to be frustrated with last night, including themselves.

But the officials made such a convenient target.

The Lions were rightfully angry with a number of calls, specifically the two phantom hands to the face calls on defensive end Trey Flowers which helped the Packers come back for a win.

“I didn’t think hands to the chest was a penalty,” Flowers said, via Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. “I thought hands to the face, but I had him right here in the chest. The second time I changed it to right here [another spot on the chest]. That’s part of a move that I do and, yeah. So, nah, I don’t think that was a penalty, but they did, so . . .

“They saw something different than what actually happened and they called what they thought they saw. I was doing it all game. I didn’t know that was a flag to the chest, so I could change it to [another spot on the collar]. They called it again.”

Those weren’t the only calls that angered the Lions, as safety Tracy Walker was upset with a personal foul for a helmet-to-helmet hit when he was going for the ball. Officials explained afterward that intent wasn’t a factor, and that the foul would have been called even if Walker picked it off.

“Extremely pissed off right now,” Walker said. “It is what it is. Disappointed. Hurt. We had that game. it’s going – I’m going to say the same s—, we should have won it. It is what it is, though. Got to bounce back. . . .

“I feel like we could have had a better game and we was supposed to come victorious with that game but Green Bay came to play. There was some awful, awful calls, but we got to play through that. We got to overcome those, and so we didn’t, obviously, and we came up short.”

Walker was asked if he was worried about being fined, and he said he did not care.

“Detroit vs. Everybody,” he said. “I’m saying it. Detroit vs. Everybody. It’s awful.”

Of course, that would imply this year’s officiating problems have been unique to Lions games. They have not been, and that creates an issue the league can’t continue to ignore.
