A detainee’s attempt to escape from the Jessup Correctional Institution in Maryland ended tragically Yesterday, as the man who was hiding inside a cadaver bag was accidentally cremated alive by county morgue employees.41-year old Gary Smith had served 18 months of a 12-year sentence for a series of armed robberies committed in 2014 and had been in Jessup for only five months, after attempting to escape from the Brockbridge Correctional Facility earlier this year.
Mr. Smith allegedly took advantage of the demise of another detainee, somehow disposing of the body and hiding inside the body bag himself in order to fool prison security and leave the perimeter of the prison.
The first part of his plan worked perfectly, but unfortunately for him, he seems to have fallen asleep or lost consciousness during his transport to the county morgue.
It was only when they launched the cremation process and heard horrifying screams that the staff noticed something was wrong, but it was already too late.
The director of the Howard County Morgue’s Medical Examiner’s Office, Terence Anderson, described the horrifying screams that he and his colleagues heard.
“There was so much agony and pain in his voice, it was blood-chilling! We hurried to shut everything down, but he was totally carbonized before we could do anything!”
Mr. Anderson says it’s surprising that the detainee didn’t run away before the cremation, saying he’d been left alone on a stretcher for more than three hours before the process began.
“I find a bit of comfort in thinking he wasn’t only a criminal, but probably not the smartest one either… but I still feel guilty about how this turned out.”
The Howard County Sheriff’s Office and the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services have announced a joint investigation to determine the exact circumstances of Mr. Smith’s escape and death.
Accidental cremations of living individuals are rather rare across the United States, with an average of only seven cases reported annually.
In most of these cases, the victims are comatose hospital patients misidentified as dead by the medical staff.
Mr. Smith’s case is considered “extremely concerning” by the state’s Medical Examiner’s Office which also launched an internal investigation to make sure that this kind of accident doesn’t happen again.

Their cartoonish image of the President’s base dooms them to failure.It’s an article of faith among Democrats that the President’s base consists primarily of white working class voters without college degrees, and that they must be won back in order to beat Trump in 2020. This is why Elizabeth Warren inflicted that cringe-making, “I’m gonna get me a beer,” video on a long-suffering electorate. It is why Joe Biden, who reputedly enjoys a special rapport with blue collar voters, is the frontrunner for his party’s presidential nomination despite his penchant for gaffes and plagiarism. Thus, during this week’s Democratic debates, the candidates will devote considerable effort to courting the “deplorables.”
This will, however, be an exercise in futility because everything they believe about Trump’s base is false. Their view of this large and growing segment of the electorate is distorted by a myth concocted primarily by the media to explain away a deeply uncomfortable reality — that Trump possessed a better understanding of the public mood than did the professional political class. They were unable to abandon their preconceived notions about Trump and his supporters, despite easily accessible contrary data. The belief that his message was resonating only among the working class was debunked by Nate Silver as early as May of 2016:
It’s been extremely common for news accounts to portray Donald Trump’s candidacy as a “working-class” rebellion against Republican elites.… But the definition of “working class” and similar terms is fuzzy, and narratives like these risk obscuring an important and perhaps counterintuitive fact about Trump’s voters: As compared with most Americans, Trump’s voters are better off. The median household income of a Trump voter so far in the primaries is about $72,000.
That figure wasn’t merely above the national median household income, it was higher than the median income for Hillary Clinton’s supporters. Silver went on to point out that the general portrayal of Trump’s voters as uneducated also failed to conform to the facts: “About 44 percent of Trump supporters have college degrees… higher than the 33 percent of non-Hispanic white adults, or the 29 percent of American adults overall, who have at least a bachelor’s degree.” Blue collar workers were a real and valuable cohort of the President’s supporters, but the financial and educational make up of his base was more complex than most acknowledged.
Yet, even a guy as smart as National Review’s Kevin Williamson succumbed to the Never Trump delusion that Trump’s supporters were a bunch of white trash losers. In an essay published in the spring of 2016, he snarled, “Donald Trump’s speeches make them feel good. So does OxyContin.” Even after Trump won the Republican nomination, the legacy media, the Never Trumpers, and the Clinton campaign clung desperately to their belief that his supporters were a contemptible collection of irredeemable, uneducated homophobes, xenophobes, and racists. They were, as Clinton famously phrased it, “a basket of deplorables.”

Most know him as "Duke" the Bush's Baked Beans dog. His name is actually Sam. He lived in Apopka with our friend Susan his owner. She trains animals to work in commercials. Not just hers but others as well. Sadly she had to euthanize Sam yesterday due to an aggressive cancer he was suffering from. She is as we are heartbroken. Here is a photo from his better days. He was a very special dog to all who ever knew or had the pleasure of meeting him. He is and will be missed.

investigation into the Clinton Foundation.
A Grand Jury had been impaneled.
Governments from around the world had donated to
the “Charity”.
Yet, from 2001 to 2003 none of those “Donations”
to the Clinton Foundation were declared. Now you
would think that an honest investigator would be able
to figure this out.
Look who took over this investigation in 2005:
None other than James Comey; Coincidence? Guess who
was transferred into the Internal Revenue Service to
run the Tax Exemption Branch of the IRS? None other
than, Lois “Be on The Look Out” (BOLO) Lerner. Isn’t
that interesting?
But this is all just a series of strange
coincidences, right?
Guess who ran the Tax Division inside the
Department of Injustice from 2001 to 2005?
No other than the Assistant Attorney General of
the United States,
Rod Rosenstein.
Guess who was the Director of the Federal Bureau
of Investigation during this time frame?
Another coincidence (just an anomaly in
statistics and chances), but it was Robert Mueller.
What do all four casting characters have in common?
They all were briefed and/or were front-line
investigators into the Clinton Foundation Investigation.
Another coincidence, right?
Fast forward to 2009....
James Comey leaves the Justice Department to go
and cash-in at Lockheed Martin.
Hillary Clinton is running the State Department,
official government business, on her own personal
email server.
The Uranium One “issue” comes to the attention of
the Hillary.
Like all good public servants do, supposedly
looking out for America’s best interest, she decides
to support the decision and approve the sale of 20%
of US Uranium to no other than, the Russians.
Now you would think that this is a fairly
straight up deal, except it wasn’t, America got
absolutely nothing out of it.
However, prior to the sales approval, no other
than Bill Clinton goes to Moscow, gets paid 500K for
a one hour speech; then meets with Vladimir Putin at
his home for a few hours.
Ok, no big deal right? Well, not so fast, the FBI
had a mole inside the money laundering and bribery
scheme.
Robert Mueller was the FBI Director during this
time frame? Yep, He even delivered a Uranium Sample
to Moscow in 2009.
Who was handling that case within the Justice
Department out of the US Attorney’s Office in Maryland?
None other than, Rod Rosenstein. And what
happened to the informant?
The Department of Justice placed a GAG order on
him and threatened to lock him up if he spoke out
about it.
How does 20% of the most strategic asset of the
United States of America end up in Russian hands when
the FBI has an informant, a mole providing inside
information to the FBI on the criminal enterprise?
Very soon after; the sale was approved!~145
million dollars in “donations” made their way into
the Clinton Foundation from entities directly
connected to the Uranium One deal.
Guess who was still at the Internal Revenue
Service working the Charitable Division? None other
than, - Lois Lerner.
Ok, that’s all just another series of
coincidences, nothing to see here, right?

Yesterday's 'Ego' blog did not produce the results I expected. No big deal except there now seems to be someone who crave the role of 'Ego Extraordinaire' while not wanting to expose themselves for who they are. I really expected 2 or 3 other people to take the bait and claim I was talking about them, but no, only one came through and did so quietly through personal messenger rather than to let on who they are.
