Prior to the start of a Chicago White Sox game, Sister Mary Jo takes the mound,does a ball trick and then paints the outside corner with the ceremonial first pitch.

They didn't have them like here when I started school, may have stayed Catholic if they did but I quit as soon as I reached the age of recognition.
We had knuckle beaters.
But, I deserved it. I 'accidently', (on purpose) knocked it off my desk to create a racket.
Lesson learned - that was the last time I ever did that.
