The new job

My manager really believes in me. I feel an obligation to deliver. Keep in mind, I know absolutely nothing about automobile except, they are a method to obtain freedom. I feel as if I stepped off my spaceship and integrated into the earthling environment. I am studying what engines exist and all of these technologies that are standard. oh lordy, one can be a real space cadet to drive these days. These new cars can do the thinking for you. Who cares about deer running in front. Oh, yes, in these parts, a deer can be a real threat. So this "daddy's girl" is starting from square one. I might as well be an alien. It's all news for me. All, very interesting and exciting

yay Good for you girl yay
Thanks Track cheers
Your manager believes in you. Now you have to believe in yourself.

Goodluck with your new job
Google says 70% of Americans hate their jobs, and the most heart attacks happen on monday mornings.

I'm glad for you.
Usually people will walk around looking at the cars, and it's a good chance that if they have gotten that far they already have a car picked out. All you have to do is walk up to them and ask if you can help them. If they have no idea then you just ask what they have in mind..a truck or a car... You want them to feel it was their idea.

Plus you will work with someone else for a week or two, until you're comfortable.
Enjoy!

Learn as much as you can as quickly as you can, ask your manager lots of questions and builld your confidence conversing

And when it comes to sales, the process is Greet. Qualify. Present.Close.

And don't give up on the first attempt at closing, three times is acceptable thumbs up

Good luck! handshake beer
If you try to push people into something, they will push back.
Instead give them what THEY want.
How to know what they want ? Ask them & truly listen.
Show them options to achieve THEIR goals.
Have fun showing them the options and how any particular option
may solve something they want.
Think about why they asked any particular question before answering it.
Then answer that question both directly and how they can get around any issue
that might be bothering them.
Let them know that you are there to actually help them.
Not by simply saying it, but by your actions.
When finished ask them which option THEY prefer.
Let them decide, rather than you decide.
The more you can have them enjoy the process, and make their needs the priority,
the more they will seek you.
Have fun & success. head banger
I've been listening to this nonstop the whole last week!
