Zack Snyder's Justice League! Yes, please!
A few years back, in 2017 to be exact, Justice League was released in cinemas, out to deliver some justice for DC fans. See what I did there? Anyway.. The movie was awful, because two different directors worked on it. First, Zack Snyder was picked to direct the big blockbuster film, but he had to step aside during the post production, to deal with his daughter's death. Joss Whedon took over, and embarked on a 25 million dollar re-shoot rampage, where he pretty much changed the tone of the film. It's a complicated mess that will take forever to explain. I will therefore move on to The Snyder Cut, which fans wanted ever since the release of the 2017 movie. Talks about the Snyder cut was all over the internet, but it was said, that it would never ever happen. Fast forward three years, to February 2020, where Zack Snyder confirmed, that there would be a version of the film, known as Zack Snyder's Justice League - or The Snyder Cut. Fans were ecstatic, of course. They would finally get a version of the film, that shows how Zack Snyder wanted the movie to be. They also confirmed the run time: 240 minutes, or 4 hours. At first it was reported, that the movie would be split into 4 parts, but it was later revealed, that it would be one long film.The trailer for the movie dropped today, and it just looks epic! Much better than the 2017 version. This one is rated R, for violence and some language. There is one sequence in the trailer, that shows bloodshed, so hopefully there will be some more bloodshed. After all, this is a superhero film with a lot of swords, guns and fighting.
The Snyder Cut will go to HBO Max and HBO Nordic in selected European territories, on the 18th of March
