Well, it's over.
Yeah, I knew it couldn't last forever.Some said it lasted longer than they expected.
To be honest I just knew it would end.
Still, there's some lament in the finality of it.
Sure, there will be others in the future.
But, probably not for a while.
I'd like to take a break and not get involved right now.
Regardless, I have to face it, whether I like it or not.
I have to accept it.
The softball season is now over for this year.
No big deal. I can use the break until next spring.
