I'm not sure Chris wave

Maybe they lost interest and simply don't want any more reactions?confused
Actually, the good authors don't make the comments. I can think of a few multi-page soliloquys however, that should have been abandoned.
In my case I usually don't comment on my blogs unless I'm asked a question, somebody criticizes me, or somebody makes an utterly stupid or inflammatory comment against one of my commenters or myself. I just don't believe in making comments just to bump my blogs to the top.
When there is a lack of comments by others, that tells me that they are generally not interested in that blog and I just let it go. Why beat a dead horse?
i lost motivation...it's very quiet and boring.

I moved from the threads to the blogs...cause I thought more people might post...but it's flatlined on bothsleep

I check before i login...to see who is online and i don't know why i bothered to login this evening...cause it's worse than a morgueroll eyes
Hey, look at it this way maybe... unlike me, you haven't been banned from posting blogs or threads lately. laugh

i had better sing thisgrin
Because not everyone is into self-posting. You see blogs with 2k comments, all by the author to himself. I find that heart breaking. A bit like the old cat lady talking to her cats. She's talking to herself at the end of the day. dunno

I comment on my blog in response to someone's post or if I want to add something. If there's nothing for me to say, I say nothing. If people don't comment anymore on my blog, then that means that there's no more interest in that blog, and I let it go.
[Quote}According to CS.... A Blog is a journal you may enter about your life, thoughts, interesting experiences, or lessons you've learned. Post an opinion, impart words of wisdom, or talk about something interesting in your day. Update your blog on a regular basis, or just whenever you have something to say. Creating a blog is a good way to share something of yourself with others. Reading blogs is a good way to learn more about others.

thumbs up
That is how it should be, but once in a while you may update your post, for you or anyone who's interested.
The blogs are usually so boring they get few reads and fewer comments. Be grateful they drop away. Better than the dreary blogs where the OP is stubbornly adding to what nobody was reading in the first place. And some of them have hundreds of OP comments!

I know blogs from a few years back have lots of genuine comments and can be very funny indeed, the comments often better than the blog, but now? if the topic looks duller than ditchwater anyway and the OP was the last one to comment, pass lightly by. Maybe nobody listens to them in real life either but that is no reason to be a bore. I check nothing interesting has been brought back to the top page, then sort blogs to "most recent" which does help filter out the bloody awful blasts from the past.

This is a boring comment and nobody will read it. frustrated
Nope, I read it and everyone is entitled to express their opinions. It's not like we're all the same. I do whatever I want with my blogs as long as it's not against the rules. Hmmm let me go back to my old blogs and check out what reactions it would get.
Suziesnoot....... Let's see a blog from you. I can't wait for your exciting contribution. No need to show your face either. Everyone is waiting in anticipation of your offering.
dancing applause cheering
I found one of your blogs and you didn't even respond to my comment. I get it, you probably wish I didn't post, is that it? Quite frankly, I'm surprised it didn't get any comments at all.
