DIVISION IN THE WORLD

The world is gradually splitting up into freedom loving democracies and ruthless regimes.
Most of western Europe, North America, and Australasia will have to be self sufficient and not rely on countries outside their political beliefs for trade, energy supplies etc. The other regimes, example, Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, will increasingly look to each other for support and endeavour to benefit their political set ups.
Countries caught in the middle, example India, will have to decide who's side they are on.

Take the barristers being on a strike as just a small example of how we are a fake liberal with a fake rule of law. The problems run much deeper with all this new technology but them being all on strike means that the state hasn't conducted a fair trial in years. To actual liberals this would be an immense concern but there's no mention of throwing out verdicts because it's not a liberal at all, a mere pretense of being one.
Australia is a signatory to the One Belt Inisitive, Chinese company's lease ports and Chinese have substantial interests in rural Australia, China is Australia's largest trading partner and I suggest the USA is the biggest creator of mass murder the world has ever witnessed.
You stupid religious nutters (according to Jimmy Carter in 2019) America has been engaged in war for 241 years of the 268 years since federation.
Its ignorance stupid religious nutters in your county who remains the most ruthless country of the world recent history.
doh
@rob Quote from ex-pm Morrison I'm pretty sure Australia has refrained from participating in 1B1R. Personally I see it as benefitting the world, whereas the Yanks see it as somehow sinister.
And if nothing else we are embroiled in a culture war which there seems to be no end to it. The fact we even have a period dignity officer in the midst of a cost of living crisis expresses the states utter contempt for the common man, but the response is to troll this system by making the period dignity officer a man. I understand why men in the west their position as a male eunuch, but it's not coming out in a productive way. Man or woman the period dignity officer ought to be blasted off the face of the earth whilst we seize their property and possessions up to the total value of their wages, and distribute them to the poor.
You say freedom-loving because you are imagining a great difference between the war in Iraq and the war in Ukraine. Imagining differences between a British court and a Russian one when there's not a lot in it these days.

The only thing to cling onto is that the war in Iraq was called a war not a special military operation. Slightly less bent.
You left out the most important continent in terms of resource value and potential. The one which is the most desired and which has been plundered for centuries by every significant other country in the world. Perhaps you would like to tell us how this continent manages to prevail in the context of your blog. It's significance in today's political climate is extremely important if not pivotal.
The continent is Africa and there is a connection to Russia. That connection is the reason why sanctions on Russia are not working.
I'm sure the people of the continent of Africa would welcome any control from Russia. Russia would no doubt be happy to receive migrants from that continent. They could all drive Ladas, and possibly be recruited to fight any Russian wars. Thus saving the lives of the Russia indigenous population. Any refusals of course and they would end up in labor camps.
The important continent is Antarctica. This has yet to be exploited for minerals and oil. The major powers are trying to establish bases there.
Crown, the significant point is that Putin was able to trade security and protection to African presidents for access to gold. He has managed to amass enough gold to link the Rouble to gold which has given it credibility and reversed the slide. This year smuggled gold has most likely been kept off the books and used to finance the war. For this reason and others Sanctions are not working.
By the way China seems to have lost it's influence on african countries recently. African presidents took the investments and now are turning elsewhere, giving China the cold shoulder. Remember this happened with Ukraine shunning Putin, that didn't end well.

If Africa shunned China, once investments made, it can do the same to Russia. The African president's know how valuable gold is. They will decide to keep it as security for their future. That applies to diamond mines and other precious materials.
Only because they didn't have the intelligence to come up with the idea first, The US has always shown political jealousy of countries that are doing better than themselves.
The Victorian state government signed an agreement, not Australia. Subsequently the Federal Govt ripped up the agreement. Check your information - Australia is not a party to 1B1R but they arguably should be.
Did you know that approx 2000 young people are still in jail in Hong Kong since their protests in 2019?
