If you are not prone to motion sickness you would probably be okay- but then, we had smooth seas on the cruise I was on so it may not be a fair comparison.

On med.sea, large cruise ships, at each harbor there will be a lot embarking and disembarking, each time from different countries. It is then difficult to get into contact with anyone!
Seasick, take pills with you and as soon at gets a bit rough take them and you may be one of the few enjoying a meal dining room.
