My favorite flower

The following photo is of my favorite flower.
I can't really tell you why it's my favorite flower. dunno
It doesn't smell great.
It doesn't remind me of anyone.
I guess I just like the combination of different bright colors
and the fact that it is most frequently found in exotic places,
like Hawaii. I love Hawaii applause
This one was in New Jersey though. cool

What's your favorite flower and why ?

the blue color in the middle....
So beautiful Jim

I guess it's that bright multi-color that gets me too.

I know Jim you do not like classical music much, you are into jazz... but this beautie needs some pure beautie of pure tones...

Franz Liszt - Liebestraum
I like daisies. They are simple and pretty. There isn't anything too fancy about them...even though there are loads of species. I guess my favorite species of daisies would be the oxeye daisy. It's native to Europe and parts of Asia. It's an invasive species here in the US...still pretty though. When they bloom in the spring, I like to stop on the side of the road and pick them.
I like ivory calla lillies with baby red roses
A - jazz & blues are my two favorite types of music.
Classical can be OK, but not much innovation for my taste.
Anything but Rap, which is the epitome of monotony.

F - dasies are asimple & sunny flower;

M - White calla lilies are such a pure symbol;

It's cool that people have such varied tastes.

F - I especially like the colored dahlias, because of the curled flower petals. It adds depth to photos.

M - Yes, monarchs love to lay eggs on milkweed.

In May, however, I am playing softball on several different teams, so it's unlikely that I would be there then.

E - some people have "green thumbs" and others don't.
I plant a nice vegetable garden each year.
To me it isn't difficult. But some people
would rather buy veggies at the market. dunno
