People are mean.....people are rude.......
people are greedy.....people are psychotic.....people are violent....that's all we hear!! The news...the movies....the newspapers.....I guess it sells better than good
I think there should be a part of the news everyday that focuses on the GOOD as well
For instance. A friend of mine is going through some hard times right now, financially. She's too proud to ask for help and keeps trying and trying. She came to where I work the other day and handed me a letter she had received in the mail. (I'm going to paraphrase here because I don't remember the exact wording) "We know you are going through a rough time and your pride won't allow you to ask for help. So take this and use it for making things a little better". It was signed anonymous. Inside the envelope was a money order for $500.00.
It never made the news, but was life changing for my friend

Goes to show not all of mankind is bad..
To much bad happen in this world true, but now the media show us to much on Tv, net..., back in the days i was not even know about murders and other..etc, now they talk about it each time and make us be afraid of our own shadow when we go out at night.
U can calculate ur chances.
the news; war, murder, robberies, crashes, etc...
They ought to be forced to report on one good thing,
for every bad thing they report on.
Post bad news, and it makes them feel good........
I think bad news is simpler to report and easier to find an audience for.
Think of gossip ... simple drama of life and how entertaining it seems to be to hear about the difficulties in other people's lives.
We have 3 primary local TV stations here ... 2 of them are "if it bleeds, it leads" types ... 1 is not. I always watch the 1, the NBC affiliate, because they don't focus on or sensationalize the bad things.
For ratings, they do the best... but probably have to spend the most as positive stories require research while negative ones sort of write themselves.

People can see that your friend is one of the woman who live the best for herself and her family. She is one of the woman who might never give up struggle to pass the financial difficulty. That's kind of person, people like her and might help her. They just trust her that she will have better life with their help. I believe, under our conscious, we always love to see others feel happy and have better life. So with the anonymous :) Just say bless with the kindness.
