Men.......this question is for you....I would appreciate an honest answer...really.

Lately I've seen blogs writing about how satisfying it is to have a totally submissive wife/girlfriend (not JUST sexually either

)

Would you really like that? Really? Would you like a woman that couldn't (or wouldn't) think for herself? One that wouldn't help you through rough times but sit back and let you do it all since "You're the man"? One that said yes sir, yes sir all of the time? Come on....tell me the truth. Would that be your idea of a perfect relationship??

I mean, I know I wouldn't want to be married to a man that couldn't or wouldn't think for himself. I need a man with a bit of a backbone you know? Not an abusive person, but somebody that won't let me walk all over him, ya know??? Someone that would respect my opinions and me, for that matter.

I just don't see the attraction. I understand doing things for EACH OTHER, but a relationship that's one sided???????? You said you were with these women/woman for about what, 2 and a half weeks.....do you really think you could live that way for a lifetime?

I would like someone intelligent, however, not so "book smart" that they have no common sense or "street smarts". I think an equal blend of both would be good. Definitley would need someone able to "think through" things AND respect the fact that I too have opinions and am able to think for myself

Ed... But what if the man isn't as good of a problem solver and continues to make the wrong decisions that effect his family? Should that just be "the way it is" ? Isn't that a form of vanity, continuing to think that his decision is the best decision? That he is always right, even if he's wrong? Just asking, not arguing....
