National Day of 2013
Today is National Day in China. Most of us have a 7-day holiday. Someone go to the scenenic spot to travel, someone go home to spend the holiday with their parenets, someone go to another city to be with their boy/girl friend...I am single ; and I am really tired of being surrounded by so many many people in the train, so I stay in SZ as usual. Luckily, my cousin and her boy friend come to viste me to spend the first day of the National Holiday. We go shopping, have some snacks in KFC, and plan to go to some other places in SZ.
When my cousin and her boy friend are chosing the cloths in the exclusive agency, I keep quiet and look around if there is something I need to buy. I don't admire if someone can afford to buy something for me, I don't admire if someone can come to be with me in the National holiday, I don't admire if most of my friends, relatives, classmates have found their soul mate to get married.
I work, so I am indepent fanancially. I wait, so I can live well on my own. I know that someone is also on his way to find me, so I have to courage to be single.
I heard some words from my mini blog, it goes like that" The best attitude towards life is to be quiet, contitune to be good and believe that the true love does exist. "

true love is a myth created by hollywood. go for pragmatic love.
Good attitude! Keep that up. Your day will come when a man finds you. Your too pretty not to have someone.
Have a good time with your cousin. And a great National Day!
I hope you have a Great National Day, enjoy your vacation
Happy China day!
I don't want to hijack the thread, but I heard it's also national Vegetarian day today AND national something else day... but I forgot what exactly it was!
Anyway, like I said... happy China day and good luck!
:)
But in these times, I try to find interesting things to do.
My fiance is also troubled by the cultural expectations in her city of Fuzhou. Every day friends and colleagues ask her how is her husband and her children.
It is very difficult for her to have to say that she has no children. For her in China, is big embarrassment to not have children.
So you are not alone. Remember that even though it may be uncomfortable, or lonely that you are not suffering alone.
Each stage of life has good and bad in it. We must focus on the good, and wait patiently. It can be difficult though.
I hope your "Country Day" holiday has been good for you.
