Flight 370
I just read on CNN the following. I am truly sorry about this! Let's pray for the families of the love ones!
Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 went down over the southern Indian Ocean, Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak said Monday, citing a new analysis of satellite data by a British satellite company and accident investigators, and apparently ending hopes that anyone survived.

They don't have tangible evidence/markings of the plane.
They don't even have the pieces floating that they ASSUME might be from the plane.
They should have waited until they find an actual piece of the plane
Very cruel of the government to send a text to all those families that they THINK the plane went down in the Indian Ocean.
Eventually they did tell them in person but can you imagine getting a text that your loved one perished in the ocean.

Tragic, terrible loss of so many precious lives
I just rechecked the news and they didn't say anything about recovering anything. That being said, they must know something to release this type of info! I believe they are withholding all of the pertinent info for a reason! Let's wait and see!
I read where Yahoo Snooze reported that it could've been from being highjacked,held hostage and that the pilot or someone had turned all tracking off on the plane.
I hope that soon the friends and families will get closure very soon.
I can not imagine what families must be going through

Everyone on here is making very valid points! Let say the plane was hijacked....where are the passengers? They have to be housed and fed!confused
Can't answer your question cause then I'd be following in the footsteps of the mass media.
