Bridegroom never show up!

I had a friend who used to work with me call me over the phone, She invited me for her wedding few weeks ago but for some reason I could not make it..but I gave my wishes and promised her to see them asap when I am able catch holidays apart my work.

I thought she is calling me after the wedding to tell me how it was and what a fantastic wedding was and so and so..

Her voice was terrible look like she had flue..But I thought she might be tired.. I asked so how is your wedded life ? She begun cry like.. I don't know what to compare.

She was never been married.. a shy lady.. no kids.. age of 32 now.
She met a guy during a party by her aunt 7 years ago.. they had a good time together he most spended time by her ,, she by him,, and life went very nice they have been to Europe too and spend time with me too. They were crazy about each other too. Last year he proposed her and she was so happy,, planned for a beautiful wedding. As her parents were rich and she was the only girl in the family.wedding was beautifully arranged he paid everything well organized...

Every one happy .. beautifully dressed.and now it is the wedding day! Bride has arrived to the church.. the best men were standing but the groom was not there..

The priest asked from a best man where is the groom? He said groom forgot his tie and went back to wear it to his room..
He did not show up.. girls father went to the room to see where is he.. in the room there was a letter

" Sorry my love I proposed you, but I don't know if this is the right choice or the right moment"

I am not writing what I am thinking or what is in my head. But is not that the meaning that psychopath has to decide before propose a woman? I mean? If it is not the right moment or the choice would a man propose a woman? Even then could not speak it out before the wedding ,, before everything arranged,, engagements can go break apart separated or how ever it called..
