I could have at the time of the swearing-in ceremony added a middle name or several really

Plus he was more than fed-up having to spell it all the time
He had to appear for his swearing-in ceremony in the US and asked me to go with him (I lived in California at the time)
He decided to change his name to Hamilton. Pretty classy I thought
Okay, new name accepted and when we came outside, there were people wanting you to get on the voting list right away.
No problem; "Last name please, Hamilton, how do you spell that?"
We cracked up.......................I know they had to ask to make sure they spelled it correct NEXT
So many needless deaths and the many maimed for life, again and for what?
