Like most we wonder why people commit suicide...should there be more support for those that suffer?...

We can only hope...maybe some day?...
My sympathies...
I think its important to point out that there are a lot of treatment programs and professional "help" out there for those suffering from mental illness that does not help the poor sufferer even though it is alleged to...only drains the finances. I know a person who had an anxiety disorder who went to countless professionals and received very little real help. But they always got the bill.
Sometimes the cure just is not known for some disorders.
It sounds like this poor little boy couldn't take his tormented mind any more, and that drugs didn't help.
I'm wondering though, is there a lawsuit here? There always seems to be.
Sidenote: I found it interesting his sister had a baby so young. Also, no mention of the baby's father. It made me wonder a little about the family...not that her parenting was the reason...but it did make me wonder just a little.
Sad indeed...
The poor child had serious issues with impulse control, anger and insomnia...enough to drive any one to this tragic deed...my thought are that there was so many protocols/rules that prevented Chazz from receiving consistent care...money seems to have the deciding factor how much help he could be entitled to...parents were not informed and diagnostics were not implemented...
I know little about his sister and the circumstances in regards to her baby or the father...
"...money seemed to be a deciding factor."
Always kinda comes around to that sooner or later, doesn't it?
I guess it's the way of the world.

If there's a lawsuit & hefty settlement...they'd then have the money to get the treatment. A bit ironic, wouldn't you agree?
Too late for the boy but maybe this documentary will help change some of the rules around how monies are allocated regarding healthcare...
I think mental illness is a very difficult thing to diagnose. The mentally ill might not even know they are ill, or may not admit they are. In addition, they might be difficult to spot by peers around them.
For the ones who seek help, I really do not know if there should be more support but I am not sure how much they get as it is. But, doctors can only do so much...even "good" ones. Who was that, Dr. Drew????....had a patient who was famous and they still killed themselves.
Good topic LL.
