Dating
I remember as a young man, dating was a thrill of nervousness, uncertainty and worry. Hours spent grooming, deciding on what clothes to wear, where to go, what to do and many "what ifs".Although I am now older and an experienced dater, I find the excitement of a first date continues to send shivers through me, I still spend time paying attention to presenting myself in a manner that I hope will be pleasing to the woman I am meeting.
The nervousness however no longer remains, dating is not the daunting prospect it was in my youth. I am more sure of myself as I know what a date entails thus these days dates are more enjoyable.
Does dating become easier as we get older?

Lemme think the Yul Brynner/Kojak/Sol-look, is it me .......
I'm trying to find the guy that bowls me over.
Fingers crossed that your date lives up to your hopes
The last two words had to read 'often enough'.

I would like to thank you in advance about the pen drive that you told me due to my blog that how to recover files, It works lots of pics need to convert
This is not about me going on a date...
"Hell, that he is even the age and height he said he was would be a good start".... in the hope he also looks like his photo?
Nah!... you're not like that surely... butterflies... Really?
No matter which way you look at it, meeting someone new even if it is for a coffee, is a date.
Sad to read dating is not working for you
Looking like the photos isn't a problem, so far, at least I could see it was the same person. A little more life had flowed under the bridge since the photos were taken.
Does make me laugh when bloggers say crossly that women lie about their age, two out of my last three dates had lied by at least ten years!
I think I am more relaxed or at ease now...when I was younger...I had the butterflies in my stomach feeling...
Dating older men is not so exciting I'm sure but I had an amazing evening talking with a Polish war veteran.
People at the function said they'd never seen him as chatty as he was with me that night.
I was looking forward to seeing him again but he died.
That is the only older man who has ever caught my attention but I have met a couple of younger men who've had a few problems.
Love is the ultimate goal and that would be a miracle for me now.
But it's still on my wish list.
A date is where a guy, after having spent a considerable amount of time persuading a woman to meet him, then finds he has to spend a considerable amount of money paying for whatever it is the date entails whist having to be on his best behaviour.
In most cases the time, effort and money turn out to have been a waste of time, effort and money.
Best you stay ignorant of what a date is.
You are either a difficult person to persuade, or you are too picky as to whom you date, or the dates you have attracted are simply not worth dating.
I know some years ago when you moved, you were hoping the new area would provide some new lease of life. Guess that hasnt been the case.
Get out there and start dating, you may just find a few things on your wish list.
