When Meeting In Person And The Voice And Photo Don

help You know the saying goes you have a face for radio.Well that could mean you are better suited out of sight, and are better off doing the voice part only. This meaning you are not attractive but your voice is amazing. Now with me having worked in the film industry for sixteen years you automatically just knew who would be getting what part in either the lead,or a lessor part. We only dealt with actors/tresses that have done their four or five years music and drama at varsity. On a daily basis you would have people from all walks of life taking a chance by sending in pictures to try and entice the agency to hire them for a part or sign them on.Now my boss lady is the biggest agency in South Africa and only deals with the best and even attends Canne every year. Now the surprising part of all is when you see some of the actors/tresses in real life you are stunned to see the difference as apposed to the pictures.
Now this boils down to the everyday man/woman in the street. Have you ever spoken to someone on a cell or phone and then met them in person only to be stunned and expecting someone else.Or receiving a C.V and when the person comes in the picture is nothing like the one posted on their C.V. Just today a client of my daughter was telling us how she went into a total panic attach as she went to Italy to visit her daughter, but that her son would also be there without her knowing as she thought he was still in Afghanistan. There she was waiting for her daughter to pick her up and almost two hours later she sat crying her eyes out as she did not know who to call. The next thing she feels this tap on her shoulder, only to look up in the eyes of her son.The moral of the story when you change your hair colour inform your family as they were looking out for a dark haired lady ,instead her hair was now silver grey. comfort dunno
