Feeding guests
Back when you're a couple, the cook can excuse themselves to head off to the kitchen while their other half keeps drinks coming and chat going. Being chief cook, drinks dispenser, host, and bottle washer is different.How do you do it? invite the guests into the kitchen to watch you? Give them tasks to do? Hope they'll take over?

Well, you had guests
First comment of a (farming) friend of mine - I think we're getting food poisoning.
You have a whole lot of chopping and filling bowls to do, buy lots of raclette cheese, but it's a yummy and relaxing way to have an evening with food (hope no one is completely starving, the pans are quite small).
I tried cooking with wine tonight. It didn't go so well.
After 5 glasses I forgot why I was in the kitchen.
Not a bad evening in all.
Interesting to find a cook with such a limited area of expertise, though.
