Although they are fun and entertaining, I do think these type of blogs inadvertently hurt some people who are not mentioned (or who ARE mentioned), depending on the category.
In that way, it is kind of like high school, with "popularity" contests.
There have been other blogs like this.
People get all caught up in the fun, not realizing any side effects.
It's sad to me that CS, while providing fun for many, also is a cause of hurt for a few. Semsu, for example.
Anyway, as I am faceless and not really a "blogger," I don't expect much mention but I can think of a few people who are quite prominent here who were not mentioned and "might" find it a little hurtful.So to anyone that feels a little hurt: don't.
Every participant here adds something to the community (except the troublemakers or trolls). Without you, CS would lose your particular gifts and light. For everytime you made someone smile or laugh, shared from your personal life, or helped another, thank you.

To itchy I would have nominated you for 6 ,7,and,8 but you already have so many I thought sone other bloggers should have a chance to bask in the glory
