ATTN: Native English speakers please.

Is there another way you can interpret this poem other than it's coming from a dead person ?

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

Thank you in advance. bouquet

feelings...

My attempt at poetry.

She asked him how that made him feel.
The women who tore his heart from him.
You will never get that from me again my love.
Silently walking away from her.

telemarketer

I had a telemarketer job a few years back. The business owner had obtained a call list for consumers who purchased high-end dolls. These dolls were made of the finest latex and were hand painted with features desirable by the worldly man. Every eyelash was placed with precision. The pores of the doll secreted the fragrance selected by the male who placed the order. Her every feature and nuance was the compilation of a detailed order form.

Back to my position. I was responsible for selling the lube cartridges for such dolls. As you can imagine, it wasn't an easy sell. I had to know my product up and down, sideways and under, to be sure! I had to inform the potential customer of the ease of application into the an*l cavity without the trauma of a leaky cartridge. We all have experience the leaky cartridge, not pleasant. So, I became adept at selling the fine qualities of such a refurbished cartridge. The commission was good. I received much positive feedback on the performance of our lube cartridges. In time, the cartridges sold themselves, with growing notoriety and consumer reviews. Unfortunately, the Chinese whispers spread the news and I was out of a job.

Great Sphinx of Giza

Great Sphinx of Giza.....................................

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Great Sphinx of Giza commonly referred to as the Sphinx of Giza or just Sphinx, is a limestone statue of a reclining or couchant sphinx (a mythical creature with a lion's body and a human head) that stands on the Giza Plateau on the west bank of the Nile in Giza, Egypt. The face of the Sphinx is generally believed to represent the face of the Pharaoh Khafra.

It is the largest monolith statue in the world, standing 73.5 metres (241 ft) long, 19.3 metres (63 ft) wide, and 20.22 m (66.34 ft) high. It is the oldest known monumental sculpture, and is commonly believed to have been built by ancient Egyptians of the Old Kingdom during the reign of the Pharaoh Khafra (c. 2558–2532 BC)

Mythology
Colin Reader has proposed that the Sphinx was probably the focus of solar worship in the Early Dynastic Period, before the Giza Plateau became a necropolis in the Old Kingdom (c. 2686–2134 BC). He ties this in with his conclusions that the Sphinx, the Sphinx temple, the Causeway and the Khafra mortuary temple are all part of a complex which predates Dynasty IV (c. 2613–2494 BC). The lion has long been a symbol associated with the sun in ancient Near Eastern civilizations. Images depicting the Egyptian king in the form of a lion smiting his enemies date as far back as the Early Dynastic Period.

In the New Kingdom, the Sphinx became more specifically associated with the god Hor-em-akhet (Hellenized: Harmachis) or "Horus-at-the-Horizon", which represented the pharaoh in his role as the Shesep-ankh (English: Living Image) of the god Atum. Pharaoh Amenhotep II (1427–1401 or 1397 BC) built a temple to the north east of the Sphinx nearly 1000 years after its construction, and dedicated it to the cult of Hor-em-akhet.

I did some research, and read some books on Egypt in my past, the pyramids, culture and Sphinx.(Robert Bauval & Graham Hancock)

If u r interested in the early Egyptian culture and civilisation, gods and goddesses, please comment?

WRITING - Cover Letters

We all know that, for several reasons, you're supposed to tailor your cover letter to suit the job for which you're applying. A generic 'cover-all' letter is easily spotted by those who deal with incoming applications, even one that drops in the company's name in a 'strategic location'.

And, let's be honest, we have all had our fill of those 'dynamic and resourceful', 'hard working team players' and those who profess to be able to 'think outside of the box'.

Well, if you can 'think out of the box', why is your cover letter a carbon copy of dozens of others than landed in my inbox? Why didn't you take this opportunity to show me how far out of that box your thinking processes can take you?

But there's a fine line, isn't there? How far should you go with your personalisation and presentation of your true self?

Surely, your cover letter for a position as CFO of Simpsin, & Simpson - Lawyers since 1807, should read (and feel) completely different to the letter for CFO of DynaGame Solutions - Social Gaming for Teens.

Dear Mr Jenkins,
I wish to be considered for the position of Lion Tamer as advertised on your recent LinkedIn post.

As you can see by my attached CV, I have had extensive experience in feline mastery, including three years as Head Tamer at Bloggins Circus.

I hope to hear from you soon,

Yours sincerely,
GrumpyBum.

It's a perfectly acceptably 'standard' cover letter. But, with a role like this, could you, should you go further? Is this the moment to stand out and shine? Do you display your individuality and unique character here?

Dear Mr Jenkins,

Have no fear! My whip and chair are here at the ready, and I can assure you that your taming issues are solved. You can read all the 'blah-blah' about my experience in the attached CV. Better still, feed it to the lions and let me come along and show you how I interact with them, how I can work a crowd and how I still have 10 fingers and 4 limbs. I even have my own top hat!

I must dash, there are a few loose leopards in the street that require my attention...

Have a whip-crackingly fantastic day,
GrumpyBum

OK, you're sure to grab someone's (hopefully Mr Jenkins) attention, but you also risk being dismissed as a complete nutter?

So tell me, how far should you go? In what situations should you, not just say, but be more dynamic and when should you risk the chance of losing a position by sharing your true self in your cover letter?

I'd like to hear your opinions. In the meantime, please excuse me, I have a temperamental tiger to deal with...

Truth is bitter, I claim it only because I am the truth. If God is truth then I am "God".

Yes it is...I don't know how and what for Jesus suffered...I really don't know.dunno
Osho, a real suffering of Jesus, in modern times, I don't know why he suffered.dunno
But now I know the truth and I know why they suffered...
