Bootgate: How tall is Ron DeSantis...

I'm calling it Bootgate and you can quote me on that! Soon to go viral, people are wondering how tall Florida Governor Ron DeSantis really is. He's out on the campaign trail with hopes to be the 'chosen one' for the Republican party at the 2024 election. A man who's body shape and stature being shorter... he played baseball, so there should be some statistics on that. I think some stories claim he's are around 5'-7" or 5'-8" but mister 'boots' may be hiding something inside... lifts to make him taller. But, how much taller?

I've read that DeSantis has claimed he's 5'-11" and that would mean the lifts would bring him up at least 3 inches. Why the suspicion? One photo showed the toes of his boots are flattened... as if his toes aren't there. 3" lifts would do that as his heels get propped up, his toes wouldn't reach the front of his boots. Simple geometry.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words.

finding a needle in a haystack...

If that sounds like a big task, my suggestion is to start with a magnet!

the visitor

To turn your head is so
Out of the realm of my reality
Knowing this, I'll take it, willingly
As I share stories and you inhale
Willingly
You are a mystery, my favorite genre

You pass without turning your head
I watch and admire
The time apart is fruitful
I think of a peach, it's sweet smell
Soft against my cheek, I hold with reverence
Just one taste would be enough but always room for more

You turned my head
With kind gestures, distracted me
From scary monsters ready to pounce
My guard, trespassed, welcomely
I offered a seat
On an ancient couch touched by only 2 others

How to trust agaiiiin.....

I don't know why since yesterday, I feel so blue.
Yeah, some few things boggled my mind.

Now, someone made me realized one thing.

If you don't trust someone, they won't be able to hurt you. Think of putting your trust in someone like giving someone some delicate possession of yours to hold. They now have the ability to drop it and hurt "you". If you never give it to them, they can't hurt you.

Well, because I can easily trust, "what a world if you don't trust anyway?"

The problems is from the person whom you trusted, and yet He fooled.

Yes, out of hundreds email I got here, I trusted "someone" THE ONLY ONE.
But He broke it....

People tend to place the most trust in the people they have the strongest feelings for, so when they hurt you it hurts much more, and because of it you intend not to trust again, it seems everybody will lied to you, and everything is a lie.

How ironic, everyone is looking for an honest person; and here I am an honest woman betrayed...yeah, I called it betrayal. I was being betrayed by being truthful, and yet hurt.

Man rarely places a proper valuation upon his womankind, at least not until deprived of them. He has no conception of the subtle atmosphere exhaled by the sex feminine, so long as he bathes in it; but let it be withdrawn, and an ever-growing void begins to manifest itself in his existence, and he becomes hungry, in a vague sort of way, for a something so indefinite that he cannot characterize it. If his comrades have no more experience than himself, they will shake their heads dubiously and dose him with strong physic. But the hunger will continue and become stronger; he will lose interest in the things of his everyday life and wax morbid; and one day, when the emptiness has become unbearable, a revelation will dawn upon him.

And suddenly, they will look upon you.

HOW I WILL TRUST AGAIN?

my bucket list...

I'm thinking of the right tools for the job.
Most of the vacuuming is done in my cleaning project, but the fine dust is more than my shop vac can handle. The whole place needs to be wet swabbed.
Should I get a string mop or a sponge mop with a squeeze handle at a cost of $50 with a bucket.
I ponder...
This is not my area of expertise !
The shop vac does wet or dry but I'm actually thinking to rent a carpet cleaner that sprays water.
A day's rental runs $75 or I can buy my own cleaner and use it as needed.
Hoover has an upright cleaner for $100 and a professional model for $150.
Really designed for carpet it has forced air to dry and I would think it would do the job on tile.
With the hose and upholstery attachment it's possible I could eliminate the need for a mop and bucket.

That said, I could eliminate one bucket off my bucket list!

ain't it funny missing this site! ;)

not with any or whatever reason but the blog..^^
need to get something off my chest. ;)
I came across someone I was quite interested with. However I shied away and missed the precious chance. Gosh!missed the chances.
Jeez, after the incident, my friends who were with me, just laughed at how slow I was but esp. for not doing anything. Oh I wish I could turn back the time and deal with him with all the chances that was so at hand.
Now, I just smiled remembering of how I let those chances pass. But what can I do it's me...don't have a clue of how to deal with men when such circumstance arises..comfort

Man Cave stream of conscience.

Had an old computer that provided service for years, new one with better protected Windows 10. But what to do with the old Windows 7 machine? Took it completely apart, just to see the innards. Have modified amateur radio transceivers, to make them cover Marine SSB, usually by cutting a diode. But I thought these radio circuit boards were complicated. Computers are amazingly complex by ANY comparison, and the driver was tiny. Did this while tending to yard sale customers. Then trip to recycling center (vernacular is town dump). My grass mower is in terminal state, and even I don't want to fix it. Beautiful FWD 6 HP mulching mower left by some (?rich) person. Oil change, spark plug regap, and fired right up. Amazing what folks throw away. Never bought a bike for our twins over the years. Minor repair work to dump "rejects", and girls always had new bikes. When outgrown, return for others to dump, and got larger ones to last another few years. later today, after yard sale, placing twin timing belts onto old Honda GL 1100 Gold Wing. May also need new solenoid relay. then, VROOOOOM once more. Also slowly taking down large trees endangering our little house. Now then, there's much more, but let's see if not only men respond to this typical guy stuff. Any handy ladies? Aa..
