The age of Aquarium...

Calculating the volume of a tank 84" long x 36" deep x 48" high = 145,152 cubic inches.
That's roughly 628 gallons. Use 1" thick acrylic mounted on a 2 x 2 welded metal frame 36" high braced every 16 inches. Wrap it with access doors on 3 sides to allow storage and changing of the filtration system.

I'm contracted to do a decorative wood surround for a salt water aquarium.
The actual design/concept is pretty easy with a few flip doors and removable panels.
All the seams have to be overlapped so light doesn't transmit through the panels in the canopy that houses strips of high intensity LED lighting.

Everything has to be sealed as the humidity will be high and the salt will be corrosive.
My choice would be a catalyzed paint and primer system.
My fear is the toxicity as some paints though considered dry will give out VOC's (Volatile organic compounds) for many weeks after the application.
I brought this up to the project manager who awarded the work to my company.

The suggestion is to use low VOC water based primer and paint and get everyone (manager, architect, aquarium fabricator, client) to give their blessing and keep my company from any liability should a few thousand in exotic fish perish.

Build early, paint early, let it fully dry before installation.

"silent scream” lyrics

Twenty four and he believes for
Sure he's got it made
Fame is here for good and
Looks will never fade
He doesn't know
The game is never over 'till
The cards have all been played

Eighty three and still he feels
His best is yet to come
He believes that youth is
Wasted on the young
He's alone
The only dream he ever has
Is being with someone

Love you when your standing tall
But nobody knows you when your falling
All you have to do is call
But nobody ever hears the silent scream

Christmas came and went again
But still nobody came
Staring at her wedding photo in a frame
She's alone
We should hope the loss of memory
Helps to ease the pain

Memories, moments you recall
We should be remembered for the
Greatest of them all
You can't begin to live someone
Else's life
Or you're own will pass you by

Oh, who's to know
Maybe we can learn a thing or
Two from everyone

Creating your own microblogging social network site...

It wouldn't take much time and money to create your very own platform for microblogging social network site. You'll need to create and register your site name, hire an internet service provider (ISP) to host the site. If you cannot find 'canned software' you would need to pay a programmer to write the code. I've seen a few personal sites where people publish their information of writings, usually in the form of travel blogs with photos. This is all 'small scale' that would be under the radar (so to speak) of any FCC regulations.

To do this on a large scale with revenue from showing advertisements would probably require a legal team to be sure it conforms to some guidelines (that I have no knowledge of) especially when you have members who can post things (messages) to your site. Basically, I'm describing some look-a-like to Twitter. My guess if you come remotely similar to Twitter, you'll soon have their legal team contacting your legal team demanding you dismantle your site.

But, let's say you're different enough to be Twits on Twitter or What-an-ugly-face-on-that-book site and all your friends tell their friends who post the URL on some well known social media site(s) and within a few weeks, it's the clamor of the country.
Like Yowza... thousands are listening to your every word and you suddenly become the gospel for all good things in life!

All it takes is some money and time and a profile big enough to make it happen.
Checklist for success:
[ ] Money - as in unlimited cash flow to get started.
[ ] Time - you've go to know the right people to quickly get the job done.
[ ] Popular - you've got to be a household 'somebody' so your idea catches on.

I realize my outline is basic, but the concept isn't too far-fetched to become a reality for the right people or person.

Who knows, maybe a bookstore like Barns & Noble already sells books on Microblogging For Dummies...

Divide and conquer, except a little backwards...

...All can see the pandering of the left towards the biological sex denying confused, and their lefties/MSM in lockstep comrades. But in doing so, it alarms most women, especially those like Martina Natilallalalinalovaivicha. It will kill womans' sports, says she, as do so many others. But they're betting that, as with the passes given to Bubba Clinton, alleged rapist, and disbarred impeached lawyer, ---the feminists are silent on it all. As with pandering to minorities, with a real racist as C-I-C. Confusion Pandering?
So, now we see the South Dakota legislature, passing a bill, with a 20 to 15 Senate vote, and an iron lady governess who will sign it. Of course, just who are the 15? But I digress.
The new law ?, which the left will be wise NOT to bring it to SCOTUS. In SD state schools, biological men who are confused as to gender, must not indicate anything but real biological sex at birth on any school documents, and so can't play on womens' teams. Again, pandering to the grounded and normal. Against the Exec. Orders of the demented. The altleft. The MSM. And syndromics here.

Flux...

I was doing some model aircraft maintenance this weekend, specifically changing the battery connectors. A fully charged battery passes 5 amps to the motor in 5 minutes. it's enough current to make the entire system hot. The motor gets burning hot and the wires in the system get really warm. If there is corrosion on the battery connector, the chance of it failing are great. Keeping that in mind, I changed out the connectors for a model I haven't flown in a few months.
Normally, I pay a friend to 'wrench' on my helicopters. He's got 20 years experience with helicopters and drones, doing repairs for the other pilots. This time, I decided to do the work myself.
The tools I had in my Miami house were all boxed when I sold the place and are now stored on the back patio of my condo. I had to dig around to find the soldering iron, solder and flux.

I purchased a bag of connectors from a friend who changed systems and no longer needs that style. Before starting, I watched 2 YouTube videos about wiring up this style connector and both videos had the same sequence. I did a test with some of the same thickness wire to see if I remembered how to solder. It's been a few years... I should remember this, right?

The first test failed because the heat from the soldering pencil was marginal and I had to hold it to the connector for a long time to get the solder to melt. I had it in a clip like the video, but the metal clip acts like a heat sink pulling the heat away from the connector.
I decided to take a piece of wood and drill a small hole in it the size of the connector.
Pressing the connector into the hole was perfect as the solder was now melting when it didn't before.

Electrical solder is extruded mix of tin and lead with the center core having rosin to help it stick to the the metal you are joining. It difficult cases, there is a chemical flux paste that improves the flow of the solder. I used a small amount of flux when adding solder to the wire (tinning) and some in the depression of the connector.

Making several tries, I got the 3rd set to my liking and snapped the connectors to the cap.
I owe the success of this product to the flux. Yeah, I know when foreigners say another word quickly it sounds like flux.

The only down-side to the project is /are fumes from the solder & flux being toxic.
I had a fan blowing the smoke away but the next morning I got up with a bad case of asthma.

The Clinton Foundation...

The Clinton Crinton Foundation was mentioned in one of my recent blogs about former president Donald Trump with his media circus and to be honest, I was just a young 'whipper-snapper' when it all occurred so I have zero understanding about the Clinton Crinton Foundation, who they are and what they do...

Please enlighten me.

Wein auf Bier, das rate ich Dir...

...Bier auf Wein, das laesst man sein. Learned in my drunken student days in Freiburg. OK to drink some wine after starting with beer, but not the other way around.
Urban legend, perhaps. But I found it to be true. Burp Burp.

Politics, as usual....

...SCOTUS Chief Justice Roberts, a Bubba Bush Court appointee, again sides with the four lockstep lefties of the Court. He now supports lesser professional requirements on physicians performing clinical fetus murder (CFM), in Louisiana, after instead having dissented on a similar case in Texas a few years ago.
Beginning with a similar move in support of allowing the confiscatory fees/fines in The Obama Unaffordable Care Act to be designated as a part of taxes, many wonder what's up?
But fret not, fascist, xenophobe and racist Trump supporters. Gun and Bible toting irredemables all. Immediately after the decision was out, top Dems expressed concern that it could (definitely will) be used in support of Trump's reelection. Certainly by energizing his formidable base, but more importantly, with the near 10% of important swing undecided voters, who once again will decide the vote. Many are against CFM. One more Trumpster member of the court, replacing dream time Ms. Ginsburg, and it could be bye bye Rowe v. Wade.
Astute wonks wonder, if perhaps this is therefore a backhanded move in support of Our Brilliant and Dazzling President Trump. Justice Roberts, long a member of the ruling classes in the swamp, is mindful of his place in herstory, and is pretty clever, in his own right.
This is one of many such powerful political tropes that will be used to assure four more years, a better court, and completion of the many now only partially kept election promises. And at little expense to Justice Roberts, as he put emphasis on Stare Decisis, re Texas, in his write up.
Slicko. VERY slick.
