Make this a REAL New Year!!!

Embedded image from another site

What new year's "resolutions", if you truly kept them, would significantly change your life for the better? You can either keep floating on the boat you are now on, eat a bunch of chips and dip, and fall asleep listening to the year ring in, or sit down, take notes, and REALLY PLAN about how you can have a beautiful NEW year!!!

idea hmmm drink pouring party angel2 writing

We all know the basic resolutions many people have but fail to keep during the new year: lose weight, exercise, go back to school, spend more time with friends and family, and so on. If some of these resolutions would significantly change 2015 for you, write it down, and plan on how you can make it work for you this time. The key is to take each goal, and write it down in small, manageable steps. You'd be surprised: even small changes, done faithfully, can have a major impact on your life.

Ask yourself what new year's resolutions, if you kept them, would truly make 2015 a better year for you? Or what did you do this year, you can do next year, better?

I'd love to hear your ideas!

For myself, here are just a few to start (a rough draft, if you will)!:

1. Pray every day for guidance and grace, at least fifteen minutes, preferably in the morning to start my day.
2. Stop eating junk food mindlessly.
3. Make sure everything I do is guided by love.
4. Continue my education in areas I need to grow.
5. Stop spending money mindlessly. (Remind you of the junk food resolution?)

When you have a completed a list of resolutions, sharpen them to maybe TEN major points...(your personal 10 commandments). rose

Don't write things you know you will never do. Keep it REAL so it can work!

Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.

I love you all...you bring knowledge, friendship, and fun to my life. Have a wonderful new year, and count your blessings!!! You have many, you know!!!

cheers hug dancing

Eta Pravda, Tovarish Bernardovich.....

...many of us watched our Comrade Commissar roll over for the DNC and Criminal H in 2016. Without unethically offering up a diagnosis of creepy slow Joe, sight unseen, the true sources of so much gaffing and confusion, although buried by the biased media, should be investigated and will hurt his slim chances. But once again, the fiddler on the roof from the peoples' republic of Vermont, actually has a chance to deal plugs sniffer Biden a death blow, with force. He just has to hammer away at the Ukraine/China Hunter Biden lucrative nepotisms, and Joe's fitness for service, on mental health grounds.. So many other items, but with consistent effort, these two should do it. If I were a candidate, I would have done the same repeatedly at E. Warren, for the shameless fake Indian, VERY fake, self promotion, over real deserving Native Americans. Finally, with so much visible on Biden, where is that Yale lady Shrink on HIS mental state? Also unethically sight unseen, she seemed to try to support cause for 25th amendment action against our Dazzling and Brilliant President Trump. Media and academic biases, can't make this stuff up folks. Oye como va.

I'm too clever for them

The scammers on this site aren't so smart. They try their hardest to get my email address out of me, but without success. Yet I have not the slightest difficulty in getting hold of theirs. drinking

I was throwing sparks today...

One of the last things for me to do on my house renovation project is to remove some radio antennas and towers.

These things have been up for years and the couplers holding the sections of pipe have rusted to the pipe.

One of the guys I know wanted one. It's made from 3 lengths of 10 foot thick wall steel pipe. He had 2 weeks to respond and lost the opportunity today. This afternoon, we dragged lots of scrap metal in the front (for Tuesday's garbage pick up) and one of the salvage trucks that reclaim appliances came by at the right time. The driver was going through my trash. "We have more" and he agreed to stay and help while I got my industrial grinder and cut a line to weaken each of the couplings.

The two of us used the tree for leverage and we split each section where he then dragged each piece to the front and loaded it onto his truck.

I know it's toxic, but the fumes coming off the sparks has an awesome 'heavy metal' smell.

Creating a blog to calm the political storm...

It's been a week since the Moderator swept through and deleted a shitload bunch of political, virus, religious blogs in an attempt to steer blogs (and forums) back to their intended direction... dating.

I see a few disguised as something else have slipped through and that's to be expected. What I didn't expect was the original post by the Moderator having taken on a life of it's own with a high-level of bickering... it bears the very same tone of blogs that were deleted.

At some point I'd wager at least one of the following: The blog to be locked, some comments to be deleted, an additional revision or entry from the Moderator.

Years ago, Yahoo allowed for comments to their articles/stories and sometime last year, that was discontinued as opinions went beyond opinion with name calling and comment abuse taking the focus far away from what Yahoo intended.

I think this first round was a polite warning...

Dealing with Trolls (unauthorized version)

In the unlikely event that anyone would like to reply to Lee's rant, this is the place to do it.

Outburst No.1
Yes it seems like a simple thing to do, but sometimes they pose as a regular poster, someone who wants to just have a laugh and join in, but in time their true agenda is revealed and they start to attack others with personal attacks and they always try to justify their wicked ways to everyone…they will play the role of the harmless victim, while at the same time throwing disgusting insults at their target….

They start to stalk their target and try to provoke them, but some targets are smart, have seen it all before and learned from the experience, so those trolls must walk with their devil tails between their legs, because their spineless tactics don’t work….

..Don’t let them get into your head, don’t allow them to feed off your reactions, your angry reply posts is like gold in their hands, your emotional outbursts are like heaven in their hands, because they do want to break you down and make you blow a gasket….
They want you to be their puppet and be able to pull your strings, anytime they want to, so watch out for their tactics….

Can somebody please tell me in words of one syllable how to upload a photo to the forums/blogs from a kindle. I've looked it up and it says things like right click, but I haven't a mouse and so can't right click.
Thankyou

Is talking about our dead members of this blog land a deface in their memory?

When I am dead and gone: It will be an honor if you say a little prayer for me. Talk about me good or bad, (I hope not my shortcomings and mistakes) but anything good that I have done to humanity if any. With thousands of students that I taught in many Universities, I am sure, I am not all that bad. I am not perfect. I have done so many mistakes and I apologize for all of them.

So,

Please remember me and talk as much as you want about me. That is our ways, we catholic of honoring our dead. We have our cemetery, our altars where we put the memories, ashes and or reminiscence of our dead love ones, just to remember them. Say a little prayer because we believe that through prayers, we are saved from our sins and I beleive I have a lot of them.

So for anyone who shares the same belief, you will not deface me, if I die, pass on and say a little bit about me, good or bad. That will be my way of knowing that you care, at least to think of me and remember me.

Thanks all for your reads and or comment if any.

Note: Life is unpredictable, I can die tomorrow, or now, if and when that happens. I instructed my children to at least log on for me and let you all know that I passed on.

For the atheist who don't share the same belief, it is okay. It will be a pleasure for me if you will talk about me even resurrecting some of my writes and talk about it.

NOTE: all the famous athors of this civilized world, most of them all dead, we still talk about them, discuss all their ideas, does that mean we deface them? Heck no.

So please feel free to share me your opinion.

Thank you all.

I am sorry if bringing back the writes of those who passed on is taken as a defamation or defacing them. I beg to disagree. Or we would be defacing Dante, Shakespear, Keats, Byron, etc. etc.
