I did a reading, about a specific person today and the energy I've been getting from this individual because it's quite chaotic and confusing; yet simultaneously this person feels excited. It's like they don't quite know what they want.

Sooo, this is just a reminder for me to research:

* 3 of Swords (Upright) --- I have a feeling this is about someone else

* Knight of Wands ( Upright --- Lawd merceh, I KNOW what DAT mean)

I am slightly embarrassed to divulge what I am about to tell you, and not least because of the ridicule I am bound to be showered with upon doing it. But, regardless, and also without really knowing why, I am resolved to tell it. I have a very strong, almost overwhelming urge to run into the middle of my local High Street, stark naked, and shout out at the top of my voice, “look at me, I’m butt naked and I don’t give a damn”.

That proclamation wouldn’t be entirely true, though, because I would give a damn. That is to say that I would give a damn about having to show my face in my community afterwards. I think it would only be possible if I could show some form of justification for my behaviour.

If I could get somebody to dare me to do it, then I think I could pass it off as an act of bravery, rather than one of depravity. And if I could make it a dare involving a bet, I could also make a financial profit out of it. I get to satisfy my unwholesome desire, I come out of it looking like a real dare devil, and I earn a bit of money on top. Cool. But how do I get somebody to dare me to do it and make it seem like it is entirely their idea?

Have you ever thought about this. What if people who expelled all that energy exercising put it to doing something productive....not productive on a selfish level so they maintain their abs or their biceps.....but instead why not put it to use building a house for somebody who is homeless. ...or raking somebody's leaves that are unable to. Or, help them clean up their house.....or walk to the store for them to pick up what they need. or....dig a hole to put a fence post in.

Exercising just seems like a unproductive use of energy.... I am all for staying healthy while exercising....but wouldn't it be nice to convert that energy into a greater good? They have tried to capture that energy but converting exercise bikes into generators....that is a good start in my opinion. But when you go out and build something or be part of building something....trust me...you work muscles you didn't even know you had.


Just a thought from about a year ago.

The year was 1960. I had graduated from Roberts Technical & Trade school in NYC as a budding Auto Mechanic 2 years earlier, and since that time I had held various jobs in gas stations pumping gas and doing whatever repairs & maintenance jobs that came in, lube & oil, tune up, adjust brakes (yeah most cars had drum brakes and not all self adjusted, Chrysler products were the worst). There were no self serve gas stations back then and the obligatory question was “Check under the hood sir?” Of course you also cleaned the windshield and I cleaned the rear window as well it hopes of getting a tip. If the driver wanted his tires checked you did that too, even if he only bought a dollars worth of gas. I didn't mind cause I was doing what I liked, working on cars, though a lot of it wasn't very glamorous. I was living in Long Island City at the time and my older brother got me a job at Welbilt Stoves in Maspeth Queens. I made $1.07 an hour. It was as bad as it sounds! I endured that job for 3 weeks until I got a job at a Shell station on Queens BLVD. The owner was a little Jewish guy who had been a Taylor and knew squat about mechanics so I kind of ran the 2 bay shop. It was ok. Gas was dirt cheap back then and we were undercutting the competition by about 2 cents. We were selling Reg for $0.27.9. (about 28 cents a gallon) One day 3 guys came in from a couple of other stations and “urged us” to raise our price because we were “taking food out of their mouths”. We showed them our books and exactly how little gas we were pumping. They left feeling sorry for us. My boss use to run out and hand out cards to motorists who were stopped at the light with the gas price on it, $27.9 One day he asked me if I would go out and hand out cards when the light turned red. I looked at him like he was crazy. I said I'm a professional Mechanic, I don't stand out in the street handing out gas cards. I thought, “If this guy thinks he's gonna get rich selling gas for a penny a gallon profit he's gonna die poor.”

Yeah, I knew it couldn't last forever.
Some said it lasted longer than they expected.
To be honest I just knew it would end.
Still, there's some lament in the finality of it.

Sure, there will be others in the future.
But, probably not for a while.
I'd like to take a break and not get involved right now.

Regardless, I have to face it, whether I like it or not.
I have to accept it.

The softball season is now over for this year.

No big deal. I can use the break until next spring.

Didn't realize I was running low on seasoning. I had to throw my herbs in the Nutribullet and blend up more. And since the store was out of zucchini noodles, had to spiral my own. Was hoping to be asleep by now.

Then I found a site with the movie Black Belt Jones on it, for free. Oh goodness. it's a wrap. I love that silly movie.

I got a friend. He would come over...ahhh...about once every week or two and we would sit down bs and drink coffee.

Now, I am a bit old fashion. I bought all my coffee mugs from Good Will. To me, a coffee mug, is a coffee mug, is a coffee mug.....as long as it holds coffee and I can drink from it, it is fine and dandy.
Well, I had this one particular mug that was off-white in color on the inside but it had a factory glaze defect on the bottom inside. There was like a dark spot and when I first noticed it, I thought there was something stuck to the bottom of it. I scrubbed that sucker silly and it would not come out. So I took my finger down there and scraped across it and that is when I discovered it was a glaze defect. Well, it still held coffee and I could drink from it, so I kept it.

So anyway, I found it strange that when my friend comes over now and I offer him coffee, he refuses. After refusing about 3 times he says that I make my coffee too strong. It was fine for him the previous times he drank it. In fact I would refill his cup about 3 or 4 times. I am suspecting he got my famous glaze defect special and I think he thought he was drinking from a dirty cup.

Well, about a week back or so....I heard a crashing sound on the kitchen floor. There it laid in pieces, my special dirty mug.

I think there might have been some sort of force unknown to man telling me something.

I know this guy, he is a good friend. He recently told me about 100's of women who started to send him friend requests on FB. He told me, I don't know what is going on. So he decided to start chatting with some of them.

He showed me their pictures. They are gorgeous women in their 30's.

So, he figured some, if not all, these women are most likely scammers. So he told the ones he was interested in talking with, to take a picture of themselves holding up three fingers. He said some never responded back.....some took offense...and some actually did take selfies with three fingers being held up. He even showed me. Beautiful ladies, holding three fingers up.

He was even more baffled as to what was going on. Because he figured he would not get any of these women to actually do that because he figured they were just scammers. So, he could not really figure out what was going on.

Finally, a possible explanation. After talking with these women for days, they started to come clean with him. These women had some stuff in common. They had children and they were about to become evicted. One woman even told my friend that she could learn to love him.

So...take that for whatever it is.

My friend figures that people were set up. They were given all this unemployment money. They were told that they did not have to pay rent. With the additional unemployment money they were given, my friend figured that they no longer qualified for welfare programs due to their income now being too high. ...and on top of it, these people will need to pay income tax on that income....and they are without a job in many cases.

To me...the easy answer to these women's problems is to go out and get a job. But, is it really that easy for them to do? What happens to the children when they start working? Maybe they don't have parents that will watch the kids for them. What happens if employers are hesitant on hiring them? As far as I know, a person's credit rating is assessed by potential employers...and if they have not been paying their rent, then what?

Anyway...food for thought. I am still wondering how hundreds of women decided to send him friends requests....but, I have seen it with my own eyes and the problems that some of these single mothers are facing seem to be the real deal.






The only thing I can think is...no matter what, it is difficult to escape the consequence of our decisions...even more so today with privacy eroding.

If all the computers in the world failed for 24 hours, I believe the entire world would crash and anarchy take over.

Right now we have vehicle manufacturers about to go bust due to a chip shortage.

It has become almost impossible to buy a PS5 games console. Toyota, Ford and Volvo have had to either slow or temporarily halt production at their factories. Smartphone makers are feeling the pinch too, with Apple warning that the shortage could affect iPhone sales.

Yet financial institutes are reliant on computers and the internet, all banking is done via IT and the internet

Now children are being taught at home using computers when a classroom is a far better learning environment.

This morning I was told in a local store there is a 6 month wait for the brand of washing machine I was going to buy due to the chip shortage.

I think that society as a whole has become way too dependent on IT and the internet.

There is a saying. “ Never put all your eggs in one basket”
