soar

I know my time may be short in this game
Unless I am a valuable player
Most valuable player?
I was never good at sports
I'm glad this isn't a sport

The game is one on one
So far
A fencing match?
A boxing match?
Why can't it be
Cross country riding under sunny skies?

I imagine the rush
Leaping rails and hedges
Powerful energy pushing and pressing
Reaching heights
Higher than I ever imagined

To soar like a hawk
Wings stretched to touch clouds
Breathless
While things below grow smaller
And what makes as soar grows larger
Riding the emotions of someone new, heaven

I know this will pass
As scenery passes with every beat
Of wings, spread
Touching moon and sun
A climax of thunder and rain, flooding earth

The richest MAN on earth........

With so much of social service, selfless charity, noble international awards, but yet very less popularity, Kalyanasundaram is indeed an unsung Man of the Millennium.

Kalyanasundaram – Simple living, high thinking
Kalyanasundaram – Practising what he preaches

He owns nothing but a heart of unconditional love, that makes him the richest man on Earth. Meet Mr.Kalyaanasundaram, the man who has been contributing his earnings in this lifetime till date to the betterment of others. When we wonder how is this even possible, his story is simply astounding for one to read through.

A will to serve combined with a sense of social justice has been the guiding principle of P. Kalyanasundaram, who has spent over 50 years in social service. A gold medallist in library science, he is also an MA in literature and history. During his 35-year-career as a librarian at the Kumarkurupara Arts College at Srivaikuntam in Tuticorin district, he gave away all his salary for charity and did odd jobs to meet his daily needs.

In recognition to his service, the American government honoured him with the ‘Man of the Millennium’ award. He received a sum of Rs 30 crores as part of this award which he distributed entirely for the needy as usual. Moved by his passion to help others, Super Star Rajinikanth adopted him as his father.

The interesting facts are many and they continue to unveil as we learn more about him. In this film, our intent was to look at this legend from a closer distance and listen to his words of wisdom. When listened, there are simple yet powerful principles that he has adhered to, all through his life, and that has made him the epitome he is today.

Currently, he runs a NGo named "Palam", . He can be reached at:
Address: #1, 4th Main Road, Kasthuribai Nagar, Adyar, Chennai - 600020
Phone/Mobile: 044 - 24402524, 044 - 25388386, 9840218847
Email: paalamsavai@yahoo.com

If you really want to do good to others and are looking for a credible soul who bridges you with the needy, then here is the man of the millennium at your service. Reach out to him.angel2

i posted few comments on his being in a relationship blog. i just checked my last one to see if he responded. i still saw my username as the last commenter, but my comment was gone. wow! instead of responding, he deleted all my comments. what a coward!

i remember my last comment.

my comment: break up with ur cs "fiancé"?

u said u would have no problem with her doing so and she wouldn't mind u doing so.

my comment: not just u. many bloggers too would've no problem with their s/o or spouses doing so. that's why they r here. dont u think?

This is the new way of managing the blog comment situation.

OK, there has been some confusion lately, which is leading to anxiety and nail biting. People asking questions and making observations about all sorts of things, without getting bogged down by comments. So I'm thinking at random intervals allow comments for a few minutes then close them again. So hopefully nobody gets to comment, but if they do then that demonstrates great tenacity and they deserve the people's accolades for all eternity.

Change of perception

For those of us that blog frequently we have come to know other regular bloggers reasonably well and in some cases have rightly or wrongly formed an opinion as to how we perceive those persons to be.

Just recently, I was told how (in some quarters) I am perceived to be from the posts I make and the blogs I write.
Not only did this prompt me to change my profile but also to ask the following questions.....

1) Have you ever changed your opinion of someone due to a post they have made or a blog they have written?
2) Would you change your opinion of someone if they changed the way they post or the blogs they write?

Just as a footnote...Despite having changed my profile, I’m quite pleased with the perception that was imparted to me and have no intention of trying to change it.

It's been so long!

Hello everyone.. Sorry.. It has been quite some time since I was last on here.. and made a comment.. I think the last I was.. it was a quick to say I needed a date for New Years.. Naturally I did not get any takers.. pooh! Oh well.. Today has been a gloomy day for me. It is my beloved mothers birthday! I lost her back in Aug.. we were very close. You do not need to comment as I am just needed to mention that. I do miss her so very much and I know in time I will get past the empty hole in my life of her passing. Ok.. Also that one guy I had been talking too for almost 4 years. Well everyone would be proud of me! I finally said NO more.. A recap of that one. As my profile states I am honest, faithful, and dedicated to the core! However if you do not talk to me for weeks at a time, have my phone number and in 4 years you do not call me, and when my mother passes you can only make a computer generated condolence.. then Yeah! I think I am past it. Can you believe it! 4 years with not a single phone call? Just talking on the FB.. He was a friend from High school who revealed he had a crush on me and eventually pretty much ask me to marry him, yes.. I know via fb.. He lives in Tx and I live in CA.. Has a decent job, but on once did he even attempt to come visit either.. Yeah.. How crazy could I be? So I am past it all now.. Enough was enough.. So for all you men out there to wonder if there is a honorable woman still alive.. Yes there is! Even if she has a heart the size of Mt. Rushmore and stupid as the day is long for waiting for so long for it all to sink in. Hey! I'm a true woman of my word! OK.. just had to share and don't yell at me.. just tell me you are proud, that I finally seen the light! Hugs to you All

Some people don't read the profile and keep on con

I think some people don't read well of the information written on the profile. And they keep on contacting someone who dislike their contact.

I have sent messages: " are you illiterate?".
That person sent me friend requet after I sent a message like that.I have to delete him even from the wvm list. even to see the ugly face is a problem.
