Are You Enjoying Your First “Test Drive” of Socialist America?

Are you enjoying your first taste of socialism? Life in America today is a sneak preview of life in Cuba or Venezuela. Democrats love it. This is the future they plan for you. The current economic catastrophe is exactly what America will look like if we institute “the Green New Deal.”

The goal is to defeat “climate change” by killing your job, taking your cars away, closing your business and turning America into Cuba, or Venezuela.

It’s a Progressive Democrat’s “rainy dream.”

And, isn’t it great? You don’t need to go to work. Money magically appears in your bank account. Hopefully you can live on $1,200 every six weeks for the rest of your life.

You get to spend long days watching daytime talk shows and movies on Netflix. You know, the things Democrats call a “typical day” for their voters.

And think of the money you’re saving on gas by not going anywhere. Soon, all those nasty, carbon-burning, polluting vehicles will be just a memory of the past. How wonderful will it be to have time to “just think” as you wait hours for those new energy-efficient buses and subways.

And, with all those nasty “non-essential” businesses closed, you’ll have plenty of time to converse with your neighbors, as you wait in line to see if anything is available for you to buy. It’s Socialist Nirvana.

So, please be honest with me, are you enjoying your small taste of life in a Socialist country? Are all these great benefits of socialism what you expected? Being told the business you spent your life building is “non-essential” and forced to close; being stuck at home not “allowed” to hold a job; having only the money your benevolent government decides you need; waiting in long lines at supermarkets for empty shelves; finding out toilet paper is now a valuable commodity; being told where you’re “allowed” to go; in some states (Michigan) banned from traveling to your own second home; not allowed to go to church; and having all your movements monitored and recorded.

Having fun yet? Welcome to a ”test drive” for Socialist America.

Democrats are just getting started. Soon they’ll tell you whether you’re “allowed” to enjoy yourself anymore. No more golf, bars, nightclubs, liquor stores, spas, movie theatres, bowling alleys. Oh wait, that’s already happened.

But of course, pot stores are open. They’re “essential.” This is what Democrats like Bernie Sanders and AOC have been pushing for, for years. This is their “rainy dream.”

Of course, in a truly socialist country it is much worse. In a truly socialist country, your Internet is tightly monitored, television is government-controlled, and all media is propaganda- even a step worse than it is in America today. Although the NY Times, Washington Post, ABC, NBC, CBS, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube are all trying hard to give socialist banana republics a run for their money.

In a socialist country, as envisioned by today’s Democrat party, you would not have a car. Those would be reserved for party bosses like Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and AOC. You would have to work in a “state assigned” job. Doctors and janitors would make the same salary.

There will, of course, be huge “advantages” according to the crazy socialists of the Democrat Party. Stores will be much smaller. And, with the closure of all those greedy corporations, buying decisions will be much less confusing. The shelves will be empty anyway, so who needs all that space?

Without an imagination

Imagine a world without imagination: What would it be like?

I think the world would be very boring. We wouldn't have all the inventions that we have if not for someones imagination.

I read this writeup about what would happen if people didn't process an imagination.

Here the writeup is:Without imagination, 100% of all science, art, philosophy, spiritual pursuits, and technology would not have happened. Imagination is an effect of the degree of our capacity for sentience, for self-awareness. It is the spark of imagination with which we engage in all these pursuits.

Without imagination, our lives would be similar to those of the so-called lower animals, and this would include being less advance than, arguably, most other mammals. Compared to our lives now, we would have “no life.”

Once again Liberals believe Trump's sarcasm and go ballistic

Just like when he asked for Russias help finding Hillary's e-mails.

President Donald Trump said Friday that he was being sarcastic when he raised the possibility of using disinfectant inside people's bodies to fight coronavirus.

Trump said at his daily news briefing on Thursday that scientists should explore whether inserting light or disinfectant into the bodies of people infected with the new coronavirus might help them treat the respiratory illness caused by the virus.

"I was asking a question sarcastically to reporters like you just to see what would happen," Trump told reporters Friday at an Oval Office bill signing.

Trump on Thursday raised the issues during the daily White House coronavirus briefing after a Department of Homeland Security presentation detailed finding that the coronavirus deteriorates more quickly when subjected to higher levels of heat, humidity and ultraviolet rays from the sun.

"So, supposing we hit the body with a tremendous — whether it's ultraviolet or just very powerful light — and I think you said that hasn't been checked but you're going to test it," Trump said, according to The Hill. "And then I said, supposing you brought the light inside of the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way. And I think you said you’re going to test that too. Sounds interesting."
Trump also asked if there was a way to use disinfectants on the body "by injection inside or almost a cleaning."

Liberals - Don't you ever get tired of being made fools of by Trump ?

Time To Consider Lockdown Possibly ‘A Colossal Public Policy Calamity’

Earlier this week, Fox News’ Brit Hume suggested it’s time we consider lockdown policy as possibly being “a colossal public policy calamity.”

Speaking to Shannon Bream on Fox airwaves Tuesday night, Hume discussed the disastrous side effects of stay-at-home orders adopted by nearly every state in the union, highlighting the irreparable harm done to the folks’ livelihood and savings, and the social toll the isolation has caused, particularly for children, who are at extremely low risk for novel coronavirus.

To boot, emphasized Hume, it’s unclear how effective lockdown policies have actually been, especially when compared to other, more sustainable mitigation strategies.

“I think it’s time to consider the possibility, Shannon, that this lockdown – as opposed to the more moderate mitigation efforts – is a colossal public policy calamity,” Hume said, according to Fox News. “That the damage to the economy, businesses that I see, businesses are closing. Many may not reopen. Those jobs will be lost. Those businesses will be lost. Those incomes will be lost.”

“Plus, the effect on children who don’t have their normal life,” he continued. “They don’t have school. They can’t play with their friends, even outdoors. All these things are accumulating. They’re not going to get better, Shannon. They’re going to get worse with time. And, as I say, we may not recover from many of these losses for a very long time if ever.”

Hume argued that America needs to move forward with sustainable mitigation factors. “What they’re talking about is moving forward, ending the lockdown, allowing people to continue to take the measures of avoiding crowds, washing your hands a lot, social distancing wherever possible — you can do that in offices, you can stagger the way people come to work. Some people stay home some days. Some people come in. There’s an awful lot that could be done. Wearing masks when indoors, particularly in stores and so on.” he said, adding, “Those things are all reasonable precautions and it seems to me we have the experience of suggesting that they work.”

Protesters have a real gripe when it comes to “draconian lockdown” measures, Hume said, noting that it’s frustrating some of the protesters were “not observing social distancing and, in many cases, not wearing masks. But, that aside: these protesters have a just cause.”

COVID-19 is “a major health challenge,” he said. “It is a major health crisis. It is also now a major economic and financial crisis.”

Unemployment claims released from the Department of Labor on Thursday ticked up 4.4 million Americans, tallying up to over 26 million people out of work as the result of our policy response to coronavirus.

“The number of weekly claims is a rough, rolling indicator of the severe economic toll lockdowns and the coronavirus is taking on the United States,” The Daily Wire reported, noting, “Gallup released a poll on Wednesday that found Americans’ fear of losing their jobs in the next 12 months had hit the highest mark on record dating back to 1975. A quarter of U.S. adults responded to Gallup’s survey, taken between April 1-14, that they thought they would lose their job in the next year.”

A different kind of President

I got this story from a Facebook friend. I have no idea who originally wrote this.

Harry Truman was a different kind of President. He probably made as many, or more important decisions regarding our nation's history as any of the other 42 Presidents preceding him. However, a measure of his greatness may rest on what he did after he left the White House.

The only asset he had when he died was the house he lived in, which was in Independence Missouri. His wife had inherited the house from her mother and father and other than their years in the White House, they lived their entire lives there.

When he retired from office in 1952 his income was a U.S. Army pension reported to have been $13,507.72 a year. Congress, noting that he was paying for his stamps and personally licking them, granted him an 'allowance' and, later, a retroactive pension of $25,000 per year.

After President Eisenhower was inaugurated, Harry and Bess drove home to Missouri by themselves. There was no Secret Service following them.

When offered corporate positions at large salaries, he declined, stating, "You don't want me. You want the office of the President, and that doesn't belong to me. It belongs to the American people and it's not for sale."

Even later, on May 6, 1971, when Congress was preparing to award him the Medal of Honor on his 87th birthday, he refused to accept it, writing, "I don't consider that I have done anything which should be the reason for any award, Congressional or otherwise."

As president he paid for all of his own travel expenses and food.

Modern politicians have found a new level of success in cashing in on the Presidency, resulting in untold wealth. Today, many in Congress also have found a way to become quite wealthy while enjoying the fruits of their offices. Political offices are now for sale.

Good old Harry Truman was correct when he observed, "My choices in life were either to be a piano player in a whore house or a politician. And to tell the truth, there's hardly any difference!

I say dig him up and clone him!

TRUMP DOES THE UNTHINKABLE. by Liz Crokin

As an entertainment journalist, I've had the opportunity to cover Trump for over a decade, and in all my years covering him I've never heard anything negative about the man until he announced he was running for president. Keep in mind, I got paid a lot of money to dig up dirt on celebrities like Trump for a living so a scandalous story on the famous billionaire could've potentially sold a lot of magazines and would've been a Huge feather in my cap.
Instead, I found that he doesn't drink alcohol or do drugs, he's a hardworking businessman. On top of that, he's one of the most generous celebrities in the world with a heart filled with more gold than his $100 million New York penthouse.
Since the media has failed so miserably at reporting the truth about Trump, I decided to put together some of the acts of kindness he's committed over three decades which has gone virtually unnoticed or fallen on deaf ears.
In 1986, Trump prevented the foreclosure of Annabell Hill's family farm after her husband committed suicide. Trump personally phoned down to the auction to stop the sale of her home and offered the widow money. Trump decided to take action after he saw Hill's pleas for help in news reports.
In 1988, a commercial airline refused to fly Andrew Ten, a sick
Orthodox Jewish child with a rare illness, across the country to get medical care because he had to travel with an elaborate life-support system. His grief-stricken parents contacted Trump for help and he didn't hesitate to send his own plane to take the child from Los Angeles to New York so he could get his treatment.
In 1991, 200 Marines who served in Operation Desert Storm spent time at Camp Lejune in North Carolina before they were scheduled to return home to their families. However, the Marines were told that a mistake had been made and an aircraft would not be able to take them home on their scheduled departure date. When Trump got wind of this, he sent his plane to make two trips from North Carolina to Miami to safely return the Gulf War Marines to their loved ones.
In 1995, a motorist stopped to help Trump after the limo he was traveling in got a flat tire. Trump asked the Good Samaritan how he could repay him for his help. All the man asked for was a bouquet of flowers for his wife. A few weeks later Trump sent the flowers with a note that read: We've paid off your mortgage.
In 1996, Trump filed a lawsuit against the city of Palm Beach ,
Florida, accusing the town of discriminating against his Mar-a-Lago resort club because it allowed Jews and blacks. Abraham Foxman, who as the Anti-Defamation League Director at the time, said Trump put the light on Palm Beach not on the beauty and the glitter, but on its seamier side of discrimination. Foxman also noted that Trump's charge had a trickle-down effect because other clubs followed his lead and
began admitting Jews and blacks.
In 2000, Maury Povich featured a little girl named Megan who struggled with Brittle Bone Disease on his show and Trump happened to be watching. Trump said the little girl's story and positive attitude touched his heart. So he contacted Maury and gifted the little girl and her family with a very generous check.
In 2008, after Jennifer Hudson's family members were tragically murdered in Chicago , Trump put the Oscar-winning actress and her family up at his Windy City hotel for free. In addition to that, Trump's security took extra measures to ensure Hudson and her family members were safe during such a difficult time.

The Justice Phase

Indictments are expected to drop soon re. the illegal targeting and spying(and subsequent Special Counsel) of the Trump campaign.

There's many candidates for who will be indicted, but who do you think will be the 1st?

My guess is Joe Pientka
