Political meeting cut short!

In my previous blog, I wrote a tribute to my nations flag, Dannebrog. All over the country, people were celebrating this icon, that still looks amazing! At the same time as the celebrations for the flag took place, our politicians were assembled on the small island of Bornholm. I say it's tiny, because it is. You can walk the entire island in a day, and the population is just 39,695 people.

Sidenote: It's the same island my friend lives on. I have been there once, and it's a true gem! Anyway, back to the topic at hand!

We are currently in a period of extreme weather here, because cold air meets hot air. That means thunderstorms and torrential rain. One such thing hit Bornholm, forcing the politicians to seek shelter in the nearby houses. My friend told me, that when she got off work, the rain was hammering down. Before the rain came, though, the lightning started to show itself. They were yellow and quite violent, so it was pretty dangerous.

I have checked the lightning radar, and it seems like they aren't put of the woods yet for at least another hour! I will ask her tomorrow how long it went on for.

In other news: I have to be up at 5 am tomorrow, so I am gonna go to sleep soon. After I finish my dinner, of course!

Election tomorrow!

June 5th is Constitution Day here in Denmark. We celebrate our constitution, by giving people a half day off. This year, however, is a bit special, because the election is held that day.

That means we will elect a new government on the day when we celebrate our constitution.

It's pretty much a dream scenario! What better day to possibly elect a new government on the day which celebrates democracy? Very well planned, I must say.

I know who I am going to vote for, and I will go and vote the second I wake up tomorrow. It''s time for some new people to take office, and to lead Denmark into the future.

Secret job openings in the US.

From a recent BBS news story...,
"Lindley Johnson, a planetary defence officer at NASA, told BBC News a fireball this big is only expected about two or three times every 100 years."
How many here knew Earth has a functional planetary defence corps?
The recruiting offers are of course Secret (as are the salaries and perks). NASA is an arm of the United States government. As no other nation has formed a planetary defense force any 'first contacts' will be negotiated by the US State Dept and only the US will decide if the other lesser inferior nations will have 'any need to know' of current or future Treaties and agreements with civilizations not of this Earth.
Some may view this as an attempt to bypass the Vatican if Satan's emissaries attempt contact. This may be true and of course we have no need to know if an arrangement already exists.

Illinois "prosecutor" Ms. Fox....

....seems they are beginning to come after her for letting this racist s*xual deviant skate. Just to help his career/paycheck. Illinois Bar, State AG, US AG, and more, apparently are looking into penalties/disbarment. Good luck with ALL THAT. As with Hussein Obama, good chance she's there with lots of affirmative action help, wink wink-nod nod. Like trying to fire a government employee. Wait, she's also one of those, ---just a bit more special than most of us. Easy to see why.
