The thing about YouTube...

I enjoy YouTube because it's filled with music videos, product and software tutorials, guitar lessons and everything in between. In many cases I can miss something on TV and catch it later on YouTube. Space launch or solar eclipse for example.
YouTube is the ultimate resource If you want to prove a political point... a handful of videos can be called up to support your idea. Equally, you can find a handful of videos that are 180 degrees from the first handful.

Not that I've actually watched these things, but there are things you can find on YouTube...

Supporting the flat earth theory? Check
What's inside the Pyramids of Giza? Check
Interviews with people who were in contact with extraterrestrials? Check
How to change a wax ring on a toilet? Check
4 hours of relaxing music? Check
How to make a potato cannon? Check
Tiny Tim's wedding to Miss Vicki? Check
Macho trucks with tires four feet high? Check
Busty Asian women catching fish? Check
How to make a guitar in 30 minutes? Check
Dude Perfect shooting basketballs from a rooftop? Check
How to change the headlights on a Corvette? Check
Exploding eggs in a microwave? Check
Outtakes of Crocodile Dundee? Check
The second gunman at the grassy knoll conspiracy? Check
What are Chicken McNuggets really made of? Check

You get the idea... but what would life be without YouTube?

The Deadly Drive-Thru...

I saw this story last week and it's still on my news feed. It's about a man in Vancouver, Canada who went through the McDonald's drive-thru. He dropped something from the window while paying for his order and opened the door to retrieve it. The car rolled forward with the door open and him leaning out. The door strikes part of the building pinning the man between the frame and door.
First responders were unable to revive the man and sadly he died on the scene. Police said there is surveillance of the incident, but are seeking dashcam footage or an eyewitness.

Considered a freak accident as no other vehicles were involved, but it's not the first time someone was injured or killed in a similar way.

I've heard of people putting their car in park to make the payment then then accidentally putting it in reverse only to strike the car behind them!

Decent, honest, kind everyday folks...

...not to get too maudlin here, but with all the terrible humans milling about, (creepy, Anita Hill dissing Joe announced today), it's easy to forget that the overwhelming majority of people, wherever we go, are upright morally. Twins' last undergrad semester winding down, and they asked dad to bring them a few needed things from home. I'm between cars, so using the vintage Aa touring road machine, weather permitting, while searching. So, before leaving, emptied the MC backpack of almost all really important stuff (Memoir draft, parents' estate docs, etc.) and loaded up with things for the girls. On the way back from their juniorversities, the thing fell off the bike. Doubled back looking for it, ---no luck. So to bank to block accounts, and phone rings. Seems a nice fellow, also a MC rider, found the thing, and had his wife call me. Cash, passwords, credit cards, etc. in wallet---all safely returned. Brought them some fresh home made maple syrup, and strawberry jam, which they seemed to appreciate. Nice people, among the Clintons/Obamas/Muellers/Soros' of the world.

Remembering...

I'm searching for an old blog this morning and came across a few comments by Bearwoman who left us a few years ago. A friend had her password and came to announce she had died.

She is not forgotten...

"Is every man capable of murdering?"

"Is every man capable of murdering?"

In my opinion, except for the exception;
except if one is not capable of that.

An example:

When you are physically,
from head to toe, would be paralyzed,
then, in practice,
unable to kill;

but when the spirit
will function without problems,
then one is able to kill,
in his / her thoughts and feelings .......cheers
