... Today, on a talking head show, an alt-lefty reporterette was interviewing a nice young Black man, concerning gun violence in his community. It seems some likely gang banger cretin was passing by where this fellow and his mom were sitting on the stoop, and the lowlife shot both of them, fortunately with no life threatening injuries. The point of the program was youth's solutions to gun violence, and this well spolen 17 year old did a great job giving his thoughtful views on the subject. But the lady had to introduce race into it, pressing him on how special his situation was, give his race. I saw where this was headed, having seen this sort of thing many times. I turned it off before she predictably lead into how our brilliant President might just as well have pulled the trigger himself on that scary day. These media folks are a major reason it is so hard for all of us to try our best to relate to others in human, but not racist, ways. Wish I had a dollar for each time I've seen this sort of thing. Outrageous.

People believe what they want to believe, no matter how much contrary evidence you show them.
Last week, someone commented on an old blog that Obama wasn't born in America. Yeah, the birther movement, it's still alive... started by (name omitted) and years later, after America became divided and wasted millions of hours in dispute, were unable to prove that statement. (name omitted) admitted it was fabricated. Everyone heard he came from Africa. Apparently only a few heard it wasn't true, or at least don't want to change their belief.

Some people believe the insurrection on January 6th was a peaceful protest.
Believe what you want to believe...

Best exhausting actually. Such a day of c*ck about yourself, you should always have a rebuttal and explain everything until you are sure that the other person has understood it.

It seems like we are all getting crazier. Half the world is suffering from antidepressants,........ school classes are popping up from the ADHD people and suddenly all of the autistic people are bursting. What is the matter with us? Where did the normal people go?

It is a much heard critical sound in society: that we have become 'label h*rny'. Everyone has something nowadays. Anyone who does not walk with a therapist for his deep-rooted pain, depression or bipolar tendencies, or who does not have a child with some disorder does not really participate anymore. Because normally, we do not do that anymore. .............

you gave your courage and strength for me
so that I can write this for the world to see

you were not asked but ordered
I am sure that is how it goes
to pick up your helmet, gun and sword
and bled to die defending your post

while I wasn't there to witness
the brutalities and atrocities you went through
I imagine with a living soul
it must have been hellish for you

some of you came back home lucky
with no scar and or physical pain
but the trauma of terror etched in your memory
will haunt you until the end

today as fitting as it should
the world giving you this day of tribute
but I know deep in my heart
you deserve even more than that

I hope therefore that you feel good
knowing you have done a heroic job
defending our country and what we believe in
for the future of our country and children

Salute to all those in one way or another contributed to securing our peace. Dead and also for those living.

There was an important job to do,

Without wishing to reproach everyone, it
would be good that everyone would do what he has to do,
without, however , having a false hope
that someone would have done it in his place.
Because the experience shows
that where someone expects something to be done,
they generally do not find anyone!
CONCLUSION
I am going to send this message to everyone,
so that someone can forward it to everyone without forgetting anyone.
