Homelessness is the condition of people without a regular dwelling. People who are homeless are most often unable to acquire and maintain regular, safe, secure and adequate housing, or lack "fixed, regular, and adequate night-time residence."

We've all seen them. They sit on the highway intersections with signs that say, "Homeless, hungry, please help! God bless!" They lie asleep in the doorway of businesses and on park benches.

Some are schizophrenic, traumatized, and brain damaged. Several of these have served our country. Many with drug and alcohol problems requiring medical help.

One of the main causes is that a lot of people can't afford a place to live. They don't have enough money to pay rent, even for the cheapest dives available.

There is also this attitude about poor people like somehow they brought this upon themselves by not behaving right. This is so wrong!

Who are you to judge? One look at their sorrow and judgment is already decided in your heart. It scares you. You don't understand it. You are afraid to face it.

I know how it feels to be judged. I can pick up the phone and request assistance from any government agency, church, or friends and then be handed an immediate dismissal just because you don't know me and do not care.

I am not one of those people who can just go to some shelter and look for work and never get back on their feet. I am a woman with belongings and pets. I have food, clothing, appliances, and everything that I have paid for or was given. I have a life even if it is not the one that I want at the present moment.

I have a disability with a court date that isn't going to come soon enough. The place that I am staying at is no longer tolerable and I am being thrown out.

I have never caused anyone harm. I don't do drugs and I don't drink. I had a church home for the past two years but they have their own families and problems to think about.

I have no transportation, no friends due to distance, and no family. Would you take me in? Be truthful. Probably not.

A person should not have to prove they are ready or worthy. They should not have to earn a living after all attempts have been made and failed.

Is this what the world has come to? We are the ones that should be ashamed and hide our heads in embarrassment. I am.

GOD has made a BIG mistake in giving us freedom. HE must have had a sense of humor in giving us freewill than earning the most precious freedom.In the 60 billion people or more giving freewill to human is the most dangerous thing ever.Imagine a human doing whatever he wants to even murder or disaster would really create utter chaos!!!!!

on the other hand if humans had to earn their freedom means he love and take of the earth very preciously and lovingly.

To Know the Game, and Play it, too

Pen to paper, ink to page, the story writes itself throughout your life. Isn't it your own destiny to live your life? without influence from others, without the direction of any other than your own eternal compass leading you where your soul does wish to reach? The path defined only by the dreams of the self and no other. Little can stop the will of the driven few which lie slumbering beneath the surface. Those of us all whom gather when the world stands amiss, torn from it's ways by profit driven simpletons. With open eyes and souls ready to listen to the call of help shuttering from the depths of ones own core, to fix the mess we have made for ourselves. To reach for the dreams we all can feel burning within, those we know can be reached, and yet until now were thought to be just outside the bounds of possibility. Sustainable food sources, power without limits, free of waste, lacking all loss of efficiency, limitations once had on all forms of progress lifted. Unlimited possibilities arise from free-thought with no bias in mind. Imagine for just a moment that you could have all the energy you could use free of charge, a printer that could provide you with anything you could think of, out of any material known.. The mind runs wild if you let it from such a statement, yet it is not far-fetched in this day and age. We are at but the cusp, of this moment in time, when this all proves to be more than just possible but alas, is an option available now if we accept it. We must quit the things that have failed us, and move on, rather than sit idle whilst the world crumbles unnecessarily around us. Realize our mistakes and improve upon what we've learned along the way, thus far. It is never too late to admit you are wrong, only too early to submit; that you can't look for other options. There always is an answer yet to be found, elsewhere if not already within reach, it is upon you to know simply how to find the answers you seek. If the quest for answers becomes your mastery what could there ever be which you did not understand? Nothing could stand in our way nor would need to. An intuitive, clear-minded, well nourished populace could build currently next to unimaginable feats of engineering which could open the doors for endless way of life altering level expansions of human ingenuity. There would be new tech hitting the shelves daily at some point. The rate of change exponentially increasing as people everywhere solve the problems plaguing us all for as long as we've known. The truest bliss, could exist.

After we crawled out of the seas, it took us thousands of generations to learn how to breathe the air and adapt to living on the land, our "natural environment". It's reasonable to assume that it will take us dozens of generations to adapt to the new, electronic environment that's rapidly replacing our "natural" one. The wild mood swings and the barely repressed anger may simply be symptoms of the shock our systems are experiencing in our daily lives. We are emerging evolutionary creatures, panting for breath on an electronic beach.
That beach is full of pollutants and poisons that added to all the human made pollutants that infect our Earth, water, air, and food will and does pollute and poison all we have left, namely our minds or what we have left of them.
The ecology of the mind is under threat with things such as noise, the 'info toxins' from the ad pedlars; cultural diversity and info-diversity.
With the quiet that descends by turning off the household god, known as television the silence allows the free flow of thought. Many are afraid of thoughts and will seek to silence them with noise.
For most of human history the ambient noise was wind, rain, insects, birds, animals and people. Now the soundtrack of our lives is the hum of electronics driving our hydro rates up be it computers, the endless droning of appliances and various gadgets and the dull roar of traffic. Various kinds of noise; white, pink,blue, brown, are ever omnipresent. Trying to live your life above our wired world is like living next to a speedway: you 'get used to it', but at the cost of your mindfulness.
Les noise is what we need. Silence is to a healthy mind what clean air and water are to a healthy body. Long ago we learned to be careful of what we dumped into our bodies; now we need to be equally careful about what we dump into our minds. Our minds are the pastures of the ad pedlars and what the peddle is poisoning our minds, both individually and collectively. It is a question of freedom.
When men mutually agreed to [a** laws against robbing, mankind became more free, not less so. We must decide whose freedom is more important: the bank robber's or the banker's; the ad marketeer's or our own. We need to grasp the idea of mind pollution; what is it and who designs it and orchestrates it; who feeds our minds with poisons...
