And for those who don't understand the story...many people use this custom of saying "God Bless You" when a person sneezes.

Lol wonderin bout how beards are looked at by society haha thought I would dart first with this blog

The blogging on this site is made up of people of many different personalities, some liked more than others. What one person likes, the next one hates. In my opinion, it's a good thing, as who wants to hang out in a bland, vanilla environment? We have angry men, angry women, happy men, happy women, bullies, attention whores, know-it-alls, dumba*, drinkers, teatotallers, and more. If we didn't have this variety, it would be rather dull, and then people would complain about that! Although I don't really consider myself a blogger, I like the occasional conflict, as it makes for better entertainment. Enjoy a round on me!

Coming from Ireland, I have to say that from a human rights point of view I am very proud of how we recently passed the legislation on the allowing of gay marriage,

The Vatican's reaction was the Popes right hand man
Cardinal Pietro Parolin stating that this was
"a defeat for humanity"

on the other hand
Archbishop Diarmuid Martin of Dublin Ireland said
"It is very clear that if this referendum is an affirmation of the views of young people … [then the church needs] a reality check."

This leaves me very unresolved on where the Catholic church stands on the issue.

Are other church leaders as well as catholic ones divided on the issue. ?

8 months ago I have said my goodbyes.
You told me I would be back, my reply was that nothing would make me return to the blogs. And now this tragedy has brought me back, so guess you were right again.

I don't know where to begin to describe this legend, this wonderful man that was my first friend on CS, a man loved and respected by many of the bloggers.

This man combined great humour, with great writing, some seriousness,..
This man showed respect to all, a man of great honour.

He was famous for many reasons, but i guess most famous for his annual awards. He would always make sure everyone received one, and from the amount of text he included in those blogs it was obvious he spend much time in preparing them.

So dear Simmo, I think I may speak for all here that you will be missed. We wish your beloved family much strength in these difficult times.

Simmo has passed away on May 30th 2015.
I don't know how it happened. I only know because of the post of friends and family on his FB account.

I am amazed at some of the people on this site. All they seem to do is trawl through the blogs so that they can criticise and complain about what has been written.
Can these people not use their own brain and create a blog instead of leeching?

i am at the beginning stage like everyone of you were once a time and i have similar questions as yours in my mind "what am i doing here", "is it gonna be cool to be here or it is one another rubbish i've experienced before"...

i believe sharing thoughts might be fun and useful as it might also be annoying. i am ready to face them all.

Someone who criticizes you is probably doing so as a way to explore his/her weaknesses.someone who praises you is likely praising something in her/himself that they recognize in you. Just because another person disagrees with you doesn't mean they hate you.It means you are fortunate to live in a world where diversity of opinions can coexist. Pay attention to the opinions of others but don't let them consume you or knock you off track.Choose your actions not to impress or to please but to create the value you've chosen. You can learn much about what others say about you but you'll go crazy if you try to take every suggestions and answer every objections. Be understanding and considerate while also being your own person.Be aware and involved in the outer world while also being driven by your own uniqueness,internal dreams and values. Be thankful not offended that other people in this world are not exactly like you.And allow your own perspective to be made richer by all the different people you encounter.
