Firearm safety sense.....

...Rigorous personal background investigations, serially performed, and repeated yearly. Biofeature ID's. Weapon biomarker on safety chips. Using national and state/regional IT data, then interview with a local specially trained official. Could be law enforcement and or a mental health clinician, latter at least with relevant master's level training, and several years of practice. Yearly recertifications for these evaluators as well. NO gun show/private sale/on line purchase exceptions to this careful vetting proceedure. ZERO, NONE. Relevant initial/ongoing flags include history of mental health issues with data driven risks toward violence, convictions/jail time for same, and so on. It really isn't rocket science, peebles, won't keep guns out of the hands of responsible legal owners, and will greatly decrease, but never totally eliminate, the issue of mass shootings/gun suicides/family gun deaths. No guns for ueber liberal moonbat TDS Dems, either.

Real happiness

Modern civilization is victimized by selfishness unfortunately in which everyone is talking and seeking about his or her own happiness and forgetting about real happiness which is related to the people around us in the shape of our family, kids ,relatives, friends, neighbors and those who need us ,but unfortunately we are too busy in chasing paper money that we are forgetting these true essences of life ,so money is guarantee of real happiness??? Think about it now

Today’s fake feminism movement

In my opinion God has created men superior than women in every aspects, men’s vision are more broader than women, if we talk about past two centuries regarding women rights so they were somehow genuine if we compare today’s feminism movement which is totally fake based on the agenda of insulting of men only ,women who think that they are superior to men they are making them selves foolish because they are not mentally or emotionally strong than men ,first of all men and women bodies are different so how they could be equal?? I have seen many men are also victims of violence of women too but I’m surprised that why there is not “men too movement like me too movement “? Obviously new directions are giving to society which will lead to destruction only

Hey Trump ! You are NOT our type.

Some good points made by Seth Myers;

The well known author and advice columnist has 2 witnesses that confirmed,
that she told them about the rape shortly after it happened decades ago.
But, it is far from the first accusation of such a heinous crime by Trump.

Imagine the outrage by Republicans if Obama had 22 women accuse him
of s*xual misconduct, including forceful rape. Seriously, imagine it.

Republicans literally forced Democratic Senator (and former comedian) Al Franken to resign with their feigned outrage,
because of one photo of Franken placing his hands over the breasts (not touching) of a woman asleep on a plane flight. Sure, it wasn't right, even if it was meant as a joke.
Franken apologized and resigned.

Trump on the other hand (pun intended) can almost always be counted on to do much worse things, and then lie about them.

This is not the type of person who should be representing the USA to the world.
This is not the type of person who should be in any political power position,
least of all the presidency.
He is not only totally unqualified for the position, he is morally corrupt.
Indeed, he is criminally corrupt. Anyone who supports him is indeed "deplorable", and in denial, because "you can't handle the truth". thumbs down thumbs down

Words I don't like

There are some words I don't like. Sometimes it's because of the meaning of the word, and sometimes it's the sound of the word. It could be a combination of both, or it could be neither. I will now proceed to think of words I don't like, but no justification for my dislike of them will be offered.

I will kick off with:

Copulation

A blast from the past

I took a trip down memory lane when I looked at some very old threads. Those who have been around here as long as I have will no doubt remember some of these members who are no longer active on this site such as;
OREGONGOLD

VENUSENVY
GLATLOL

It left me wondering whatever happened to these folks?.

What Is The Number One Threat To American Success Today? The Socialist Takeover Of Our Schools.

I've long argued that the most pernicious (and least exposed) threat to the continued leadership position of America in the world is that our school system has been taken over by socialists.

They teach children that America is bad, capitalism is bad and that you should feel guilty about being an American. They avoid teaching real history because if children know the truth about history, they won't accept their socialist propaganda. Instead they teach children fake history that portrays the United States as evil and instills a misplaced sense of guilt in them that they are doomed to carry the rest of their lives. The message that gets drummed into a child's head over an over again throughout their school experience from Kindergarten through college is that America and capitalism are evil, and socialism and communism are good.

And they teach children that any kind of deviant behavior is acceptable and accepting it is what makes us a moral society.

Socialists have taken over the school system in the United States. They are destroying the lives of our children and poisoning their minds with socialist drivel. Instead of teaching them how to read, to write, to do math and about what makes America the greatest, most successful, most powerful, most compassionate, most generous, most moral nation in the history of mankind, they fill their heads with a useless "anything goes" mentality that dooms them to a life of misery and despair. Instead of rewarding excellence, they reward deviance. The message is that deviance is the coveted achievement, the thing to be admired, the ultimate life goal. Excellence is too competitive, and in a socialist society, competition is verboten.

The purpose of schools today isn't to prepare youth to make a successful contribution to this great country and to be independent, successful and happy. It's to make them good little socialist automatons who will follow orders from an oppressive all powerful government so that when the time comes that they think they can get away with it, socialists will install their dictator and have a ready made generation who will dutifully bow to their every demand.

It turns students into their own worst enemies.

Lest you think this a radical view, and I am merely speculating about some event far off in the future, just take a look at the state of the Democrat Party in America today and the far left socialist platform that permeates their agenda. And look at the number of young people who are mesmerized by their socialist pitch. They are poised to capitalize on a generation so prepared. Obama was only their first attempt. But now they smell blood in the water and are doubling down.

Some small percentage of students are able to somehow rise above the socialist assault. Whenever I talk to students I admonish them to be one of them! If the school won't teach you truth... learn it on your own! It's the only hope for America.

Occupation: I love my job...

A high percentage of profiles list their occupation as "I love my job"
I love my job too, but that's not my occupation.
It's such a large percent that I'm ruling out whatever their education is.
So when they say masters degree and they are working in a grocery store making $100,000...

Something is burning!

I love my job.

Reparations? Who Gets Them And Who Pays?

So I see the Democrats latest brilliant idea is a rehash of the "reparations" proposal that crops up every now and then when the left feels that they haven't thrown enough bad ideas out there recently (how wrong they are!). One by one like lemmings all their 2020 candidates are jumping on the pandering reparations bandwagon.

I'd like to know who would figure out who receives these reparations and who pays them.

Obama is black. His father was born in Kenya, lived most of his privileged government aristocratic life there and only came to America to go to college and graduate from Harvard (oh and get married and divorced a couple of times). B. Hussein also graduated Harvard of course. Now I'll grant you that I know first hand anyone who attended Harvard is deserving of reparations, but nowhere in Obama's family background does slavery appear except maybe at the hands of his African predecessors (since black Africans invented slavery).

And Obama's mother was a white women from America born in Kansas.

Does Obama get reparations?

How about this Rhodes Scholar Kamala Harris? I saw her on TV today jumping on the reparations bandwagon. She's black. Does she qualify? Well let's see. Her mother is a Tamil Indian and her father is from Jamaica. Her mother immigrated to America in 1960 and her father in 1961, 96 years after the 13th Amendment abolished slavery. Does she get the deal?

And what about the descendants of white Northern abolitionists? Should they be forced to pay reparations?

Who is going to figure this all out?

How about if you are 1/4 descendant of of an abolitionist, 1/4 descendant of a slave owner, 1/4 descendant of a slave and 1/4 descendant of someone who never lived in America while slavery existed.

We are going to create a new department of government filled with actuaries, accountants and genealogists to sort it all out?

And who pays for it? My ancestors didn't live in this country when there was slavery here. They had nothing at all to do with it. They were too busy trying to survive persecution and genocide in the countries that they fled.

There isn't a single person alive today who was a slave nor anyone who owned slaves. To reward those who were never wronged by forcing those who never wronged them to compensate them is the definition of unjust.

To people who claim they would be so happy to pay "reparations" to black people, what's stopping you? Go out and find a black person and hand them a wad of your cash. I'm fine with that. But keep your grubby hands out of MY pocket. You can do whatever you want with your money, but not with mine.

Here’s another good idea. Only Democrats owned slaves. The Democrats were the party of slave owners. Republicans didn’t own slaves, the Republican Party was founded for the purpose of defeating the Democrat slave owners and abolishing slavery.

So if there are going to be reparations, clearly only Democrats should pay. I’d be fine with that too.
