I got a laugh from a video posted to a recent blog. It shows a side of people who create opinions not based on any fact. Two generations ago, TV host Art Linkletter would ask children questions and show their (funny) views on topics that were about 'life' in general.
Usually, it's a reflection of things they see their parents do and not something that comes from an outside source. I'll repeat... usually. Unless there is an outside (educational) source, those opinions most likely will stick with the child and be a part of their personality as an adult. Not part of this blog... I think being a racist is taught, often by parents.

My first marriage had associations with a sister-in-law and her husband. We were all in the same age group and often went to the movies together. They had a young daughter... probably 4 years old at the time. We went to see The Fly (1986) a remake of the 1958 classic and they brought their daughter along. Too young for a movie like this? I think so.
Although it was Science Fiction, a strong part of the remake was a love story.
A botched experiment has the DNA of the scientist mixed with a fly that was in the booth during a test of his teleporter. At the end of the movie, the human side of the fly, signifies to his girlfriend to use a gun to end his life. Suspense builds and she hesitates...
At that point, my niece blurts out "Shoot the damned thing!"
The laughter in the theater was overwhelming and I know where she got 'the damned thing' from.

My thoughts are shifting to possibly several blogs in one but the video had several politically motivated 'on the street' interviews and one guy had pinned Obama for a big part of 911. "Never in the office" was a comment of his. I suppose had Obama been president at the time, being in the office would be of significance. For the record, George Bush was president and he wasn't in the office at the time. I recall a secret service agent interrupted him from a meeting with school children to whisper something in his ear. The guy with the strong (incorrect) opinion to Obama's whereabouts is most likely a registered voter. Be afraid... be very afraid.

Hey! remember all those people (with no medical degree) claiming COVID-19 is just a virus with less potential of death than the flu? Many of them are first to bring up the bad idea of using nursing homes for COVID-19 quarantining as it infected patients and staff there. Well, if it's ONLY a potent as the flu, then logically, it should be a non-issue.

My thought is logically, many people stick to knowledge and opinions that are illogical.

Prolific bank robber brought to book as inadvertent consequence of covid rules.

Career criminal, Lee Champion, was taken into custody earlier this week in connection with a series of unsolved bank robberies. He was captured on cctv during a raid at a branch of Barclay’s Bank in Cardiff, and was easily identified, being already well known to the police.

Lee has always worn a face covering on his previous jobs, making identification almost impossible, regardless of the fact that the police had a pretty good idea of who was behind the robberies.

He would have worn a mask on his last robbery, had it not been for government rules making the wearing of face masks mandatory in all enclosed public places, including banks. Lee simply could not bring himself to conform to government dictate.

Now it seems that Lee’s principles have cost him his liberty. As he was led into the courtroom for his plea hearing he was heard to shout out to gathered reporters, “I would rather go to prison than live like a sheep”. An onlooker outside the court made the comment, “It doesn’t make much difference, he’ll still be penned up”.

Bail was denied.

I remember seeing a normally desolate field transformed in one day to a place FULL of flashing lights, the smell of caramel corn, hot dogs, games, rides, funky music, and maybe even a magic show! Right? Well, Folks......we're still there..........The lights are made to mesmerize, the food is full of glyphosates that cause Cancer, the music is full of subliminal programming (such a self-proclaimed Satanist - Katy Perry who has openly admitted on two different Interviews that she follows the Dark Side - look at her videos!!!), and the "Shows" are meant to lull you into a dull-minded stupor............all for the sake of Profit and control...
What can we do? Realize that the media is FULLY OWNED by the Dark Side will tell you NOTHING of the truth! (see earlier Blogs RIGHT HERE!) Their JOB is to keep you hating others - of a different Political view; of a different color of skin. etc. while the Dark Side make TONS of Profit on YOUR SUFFERING! And these people are NOT just one Political Party - to believe that is simplistic. "They" are a multinational Group of Businessmen whose ONLY agenda is to keep you stupid, and gullible. Take your Power back!!!!!!!!!! BE AWARE! Do your own research! Don't hide your head in the sand and think the "Carnival" will take care of you. The more of us that WAKE UP the harder it will be for the Dark to keep control. It is TIME TO REMOVE THEIR POWER FOR GOOD!

It keeps folks Scared into voting the preselected Plutocrat "Choices" ...

It's why there's an Illusion(!) of dichotomy between the Major Parties.

Not running on accomplishing anything has an Added advantage.
Once elected, the candidate's supporters won't expect much (if anything) from him.
He satisfied his voters' Primary concerns by savin' 'em from the Vile opponent! .

This explains the pre-selected options voters we were given in '16 & now again in '20.
Both are arguably vile & substantial numbers of voters are Damned glad One of 'em ain't Prez!!

Adam Goodes. Know the name? Well, he was for years a star player at Aussie Rules Football. (?Girly sport by comparison?). And a member of an Aboriginal Tribe, "The Rough Ones". As with our last fully affirmative action, do little, shuck 'n jive, US President, also with half White heritage. Except that Adam apparently never threw his loving minority kin under the bus, as did Baruch the magic Negro, (not my term), when he called his loving Granny, a 'typical White person'. He said a lot of such racist things. VERY lot. But I digress once again.
Adam was interviewed by the ueber lib biased BBC, and seems a star along many lines, in our book. In ANY book.
Apparently, he had been continuously racially bullied, after High School, while in the Major league life. Imagine that, Racism in Oz?! Bugged him, for sure, as when many here on our own beloved CS are bullied, oh, say, on their physical stature. But took it like the true champ (not a Chimp) that he is.
Until one day, with 6 games remaining in the season, he made a rare error, at which he heard from the crowd, "you are an APE". Somehow he had had it, looked around, and saw that it was a 14 YO girl standing with sis, in the stands. He called an official to "Get them out of here", which they promptly did. And hit the bench.
Prince that he seems to be, he asked to meet with the girls after the game, where they apologized, and he kindly tried to educate them some. He said he thought they really had little understanding of damage done by their actions, and likely were only mouthing (?aping) other Racist bullies.
Well, in spite of his great career, as an escape from poverty, he quit the sport, relocated to his Homelands, deciding instead to work for social justice, against the sort of racism, some real, but mostly Syndrome driven, one sees here on CS.

Their lives are so good that they can go to Mount Rushmore and block the road to stop people who simply want to hear their president and enjoy some fireworks and some good old fashioned patriotism. The protesters are uber offended that the land was once occupied by Native Americans - of course none would be able to answer if you asked them who occupied the land prior to the Native Americans... such is life. Some people are just so privileged that they're determined to be irresponsible and try and ruin things for everyone and find things to be offended about. Of course they have zero problem with looters, rioters, arson, mob violence and murder. All those noble things, you hear.

I received census questionnaires in 2 locations. The house I sold earlier this year. It had been vacant for many months while under renovation and the new place I'm currently living in now.
Let the new owner deal with the property I sold. Complying with the request, I mailed the form many weeks ago for new location. Maybe they didn't get my mailed response and a second request was received that included a unique census ID requesting I complete the form online and use the code in the letter.

I like the part where it states if I fail to respond, they will send a Census Bureau interviewer to my home to collect my answers in person.

63 shot - 16 killed over the weekend here in Chicago. One was a 20 month old baby just coming from the laundromat with mom. The scariest one for me....a 10 yr old girl visiting her uncle killed by a stray bullet that came through a window....just a block away. 9:30 Saturday night. It makes me very sad. What if this were a child in my granddaughter's school? Her school is very small. There are only about 40 - 50 children in the entire Pre-K through 8th grade. Thankfully, we don't have to explain why little Susie won't ever be in school again.

This coming up weekend is a holiday weekend. The weather is supposed to be beautiful. The numbers will sadly only get worse.

The politicians say something must be done. Yet nothing seems to get done.
