A poll of 2,005 single Americans found three in 10 are m**turbating more than once a day — and just 14% doing it once a day. m**turbation has seen an uptick since March 2020 as nearly half (48%) are pleasuring themselves more frequently than ever before as a result of being indoors so much more.

Conducted by OnePoll on behalf of #LubeLife, the survey aimed to see how the pandemic has affected singles' sex lives and discovered over a quarter (26%) say they are watching more porn during the pandemic.
Nearly half (47%) of those who are single surveyed say that they used to be embarrassed about m**turbating, but since the pandemic began, they have become a lot more open to it. This new embrace of m**turbation stems from the fact that 39% of respondents have experienced a dry spell in their sex lives since March 2020. And 59% of those don't plan on breaking their dry spell any time soon, even if the pandemic went away — with one in five saying they want to experiment with m**turbation even more.
One in 10 of those looking to extend their dry spell in a post-COVID world intend to do so because they PREFER m**turbating now. That being said, 57% of those who've experienced a dry spell are worried about having sex for the first time after not experiencing it with a partner in a while. On average, those who are single haven't had sex with someone in 17 weeks — or over four months. "There are many lasting effects of the pandemic — and a lack of sex is one of them — especially for single Americans. With people being stuck inside, finding the right rhythm of m**turbation has allowed people to finally explore what it is they like in the bedroom and the best ways to please themselves" stated Tara Merkle, Senior Director, #Lubelife Marketing.
Despite this increase in m**turbation, 42% say their sex life wasn't great in 2020. As a result, 55% plan on making the most out of 2021 because 2020 was such a crappy year. As soon as lockdown measures are lifted, 37% plan on finally having sex with someone. And that shouldn't be as difficult as before to find a s*xual partner since 31% say their standards have significantly lowered when it comes to who they'll have sex with post-pandemic. Surprisingly, three in 10 have already hooked up with someone that they'd normally NEVER go for. "Singles are desperate for ways to make 2021 smoother than 2020. Beyond their sex lives, singles are eager to tackle all aspects of their lives in 2021 and to finally say good-bye to 2020 for good" added Tara Merkle, Senior Director, #Lubelife Marketing.

It was late 2011. Haley was a 32-year-old phone tech earning about $35,000 a year, and he was in a sour mood. Price had noticed it, and when he spotted Haley outside on a smoking break, he approached. "Seems like something's bothering you," he said. "What's on your mind?"
"You're ripping me off," Haley told him.
Price was taken aback. Haley is shy, not prone to outbursts. "Your pay is based on market rates," Price said. "If you have different data, please let me know. I have no intention of ripping you off."
