Flying high and going strong! 86-year-old becomes the world's longest-serving flight attendant after 65 YEARS of service in the skies - having started her career when plane tickets were hand-written and cost just $12.
65 years ago, Bette Nash landed a job as an Eastern Airlines flight attendant, and she has been pushing beverage carts and giving safety instructions ever since.
Bette, from Manassas, Virginia, took her first flight as a teen and quickly fell in love with the 'spiffy appearances and gracious manners of the crew members'.
When she started her career in 1957, things were certainly different - flights were $12, tickets were hand-written, and schedules were displayed on chalkboards.

Many things changed over the years, but there's one thing that stayed the same - the people. She said, 'They have the same needs - a little love and attention' . Bette, who now works for American Airlines, is most known for her 'warm hospitality,' and is said to 'greet every face with a smile'. Many more women provide visible leadership today than ever before. Opening up higher education for women and winning the battle for suffrage brought new opportunities, along with widespread availability of labor-saving devices and the discovery and legalization of reliable, safe methods of birth control. Despite these developments, women ambitious for leadership still face formidable obstacles: primary if not sole responsibility for childcare and homemaking; the lack of family-friendly policies in most workplaces; gender stereotypes perpetuated in popular culture; and in some parts of the world, laws and practices that deny women education or opportunities outside the home. Some observers believe that only a few women want to hold significant, demanding leadership posts; but there is ample evidence on the other side of this debate. Historic tensions between feminism and power remain to be resolved by creative theorizing and shrewd, strategic activism. We cannot know whether women are “naturally” interested in top leadership posts until they can attain such positions without making personal and family sacrifices radically disproportionate to those faced by men.

....perhaps I'm reading a little too much into it. But in answering the smaller subset, VERY smaller, of all the hundreds, nay thousands? of likes and notes of interest I receive here, (may the peace of Allah be upon the mod and suits of CS), I of course notice certain trends. Sure some are from easily vetted away scammers, often with a little fun involved, but oddly, most aren't.
In the chats to vet, I learn about the world a bit, and about others, and meself, via the well crafted process. Sooner or later, the question raises its ugly head, of whether a prospect, with potential, might be able to live elsewhere, trying never to restrict the choices to only the Great Satan.
In the past, there was ever a certain level of willingness to do so, within confines of inertia, sloth, family, their way or the highway, and perhaps, of course, fear and even a little patriotism. But as the world seems to present further challenges to certain lives lived in seeking and in service, I'm finding more willingness to get away from it all, usually with hats in hand. After all, now it's even more of a dating site.

Question is, of course, whence, whither and wherefore? Not digressing, nor paraphrasing. Perhaps just jiving a little.

But you really know this by what the MSM instantly pukes forth---all previously written. As were Hilary's acceptance and congratulation speeches.
We see a female who will do anything to gain power for her commie policy plans. Covertly, and pathologically, she really wants to dominate tough talking Joe. All complete with the Freudchse Fehleistungen. The "Harris-Biden Ticket". Who's making any of this up.
Classic dynamics in these types. As is climbing the job and political ladder variously, starting as an "under secretary"in Californicate-ya. On the back, and on the red knees.
But stepping briefly off the digressing stage---we also see just how ueber-alt left wing she presents. America hate, writ and spoken large.
Cautionary tales for all who can see and hear. The USA electorate is hip enough to ward off the threat. But if not, the country is strong enough to wait for her impeachment, or better.

Today, I was shopping at a supermarket. At the weighing place, the scale didn't work well, so lots of people had to wait there, I was the first in the queue,but there was another person by my side and the others started queuing behind that person instead of behind me and it seemed that I was the one skipping the queue.

After a while, I heard an unhurried voice speaking beside me ;" Wait in a line", an old local lady spoke in English! I was not sure if she was talking to me because she was watching ahead while saying. she repeated this sentence for several times like a parrot nagging... I wanted to see what else she could say in English, so we had the following conversation both in Chinese;

I said with a little ironic:" Your English is good , but pity we don't understand what's the meaning. "
She said:" Young person don't understand English?"
" No. Seems you chose the wrong audience," She didn't angry with me.
"OK,then I speak in Shanghainese." she said,
" We don't understand Shanghainese either. Better you speak Russian." I reply to her. She was still not angry .This short of talking was quickly ended along with her left.

Sometimes a misunderstanding leads to a misreading. I didn't want to disrespect her if she spoke in our local language at first and I'd like to explain to her ...

This is one scene in life, nothing special just feel fun though.

Ok,we all know that ladies love stylish,sophisticated and classic guy and we do see them walk around with their shoulders up and heads held up but for some,it's just a different story. One thing that can easily put a woman off is your dress code,no matter how hot you are but if you wear those printed big collared shirts and silk pants...Hell no,that's a huge turn off...that outfits was trending way back,approximately 25 to 30 years ago...it's time to get on the groove and kicking butt with you're wearing. A guy may be super ugly but because of what he's wearing,ladies won't even notice his looks...Going for a casual look but classy,e.g: Torn jeans,a white slim fit shirt,rolled up,sneakers and a blazer or a jacket,either leather or jeans...That is so simple and shouts loud...and don't over accessorize please...A simple wrist watch would do. Bring your sexy back guys!
