The "guys" tell me the real sensation of speed comes at 200+ mph, I do not know the kph conversion.
to convert... MPH X 1.609 for KPH to convert... KPH X 0.6214 for MPH
241 KPH @ Road Atlanta on the downhill just before the bridge. The only thing that kept me from being sucked out of the car was the seatbelt. 80 KPH going downhill on a bicycle with 15 lbs of camping gear on the back.
I dont know what it is in kms but I used to have a hiway patrol car. It was a dodge custom 1970. The speedometer went to 160 but the car would do 185. My son had an iroc-z that would do just over 200mph

I will never be to old for speed.
I hear you, HJ! I don't have any clue to this day what speed I was going, nobody's been able to figure it accurately, but I made a 25 minute drive to school in 4 minutes flat. My best friend and I made it to our classes on the bell that day. I had a 1963 Chrysler Newport, push-button automatic shift, 360 8-valve engine, the speedometer was buried the whole way there...and she complained that we'd been late too often. (Funny, she never did complain again if we were late. )
I've never outgrown my need for speed...I just tell my teenage sons not to drive like their mother as I pass cars that are moving too slow for my taste on back roads when I'm in a hurry.
