I used to hate liver until I was shown how to cook it properly. Most people seriously overcook it until it becomes like a piece of shoe leather. Best if you cut the liver into thin strips, coat in seasoned flour and fry for no more that one minute. The blood should be still running out when you turn the heat off. Leave in the hot pan for about a minute, the liver should now be cooked through, tender and delicious.
Liver & onions with mashed potatoes & gravy is one of my absolutely FAVORITE meals! Love it! In fact, it was what I always requested for my birthday dinner. Mom knew just how to make it too. Of course, we were the only 2 at the table that night, each year...
Yup liver and with onions and mashed taters ,I do love them, but as stated above you gotta cook it right. Not the best meal if you have a bit of high colestrol tho.

Yes, you definitely have to know how to cook it right. I always say you can tell the cooks at restaurants who don't like or eat liver... they cook it until it's paper thin & tough as shoe leather. That's probably WHY they don't like it... someone never made it properly for them.

liver is the filter of every and all toxins that flow thru the body a doctor described it once by saying look into the strainer in your kitchen sink after its sat a week thats akin to eating the liver of any animal
why would anyone eat waste?
i dont care if it tasted like chocolate thats just one 'food'-no way
mindfful: sweet meats is a completely different idea

Fried with mashed potato.
I don't eat it often, but truly enjoy it every now and then. A couple of times a year.
Kidney I can't eat. That's the piss filter, and no one's making me a meal out of a piss filter.
