Indian4American: American people usually don't like to come to India but when they leave, they leave with beautiful memories.
Namaste! I loved India and will definitely visit again I stayed in Jaipur, Delhi and Varanasi while travelling through Northern India and of course, had the surreal experience of seeing and exploring the Taj Mahal
I met up with people from all over the world during that trip, one couple being from Ohio and a single guy from Washington. They too became totally immersed in the culture and the sensory overload that is India .
Next time I will tour through Southern India and possibly Sri Lanka; I'd also like to spend more time in Delhi as I didn't make it to the Art Gallery (which I've heard is outstanding) plus I'm looking forward to visiting Mumbai.
as soon as I find a sponsor .. a Woman sponsor ....
I will sponsor you dear Boban. I have lots of money. I don't even know why the scammers don't contact me as I have loads of cash and I am generous too.
Steve5721: It's never really interested me to be honest...although I'm not an American. I think most people like to spend their holidays on the beaches.
Being an Aussie living on the coast, I'm surrounded by beaches so I enjoy travelling to places that are entirely diffent from mine, with different cultures and lifestyles .. I particularly enjoy grassroots kind of travelling, mostly staying away from cities, exploring the countryside and meeting the true local people.
I'm not American, but have had 2 holidays in India in the past and loved it. Would love to come back but the Indian Government have changed the regulations since the last time I visited (2006) ...making it a ridiculous hassle and expense to get a visa. In 2006 I was able to get a visa through internet/phone/post or whatever. Now I would have to fly to one of the 2 largest cities in my country (neither is close enough to my home to travel by land) stay there a day or so, and then fly there and back again a week or so later. Thats my holiday money half gone!! By contrast I can have a holiday in Thailand or Sri Lanka without needing to get any advance visa.

I have been reading up on India lately have been thinking about going. Can only afford one vacation a year. Otherwise my boss will say "You are fired". What I have read sounds really nice. And fun.

I'd love to visit India. About half our population if of Indian descent, I have relatives that are half Indian, so I get a taste of India right here, I was a big fan of Indian movies when I was younger and I like the food and the culture. Definitely on my list of places to see before I die.
India has a diverse heritage and world wonder monuments, over 300 styles of cooking potatoes, wild and hospitable people depending on states you visit. Been here for 5 yrs and understand as the saying goes if you want to know people and their culture live with them and dont just visit and go as that gives a shallow outlook. Welcome to Incredible Indiaa though no safari here.

I've never had the chance to visit your country but I did have the chance to work with a lot of Indians in the Middle East and really liked my experience. I kept in touch with some of them and have been invited which I most certainly plan on doing one day.
