I guess the practise isn't institutionalized in Kenya apart from in the Masai community. So, I guess it's up to them regarding what to do to that custume, putting aside the human rights discussion.

Yes not only the masai community , other community as well.Needless to say i mention masai because of boldness to seek to continue with the practice.In others , it is done in secrecy because once caught you will face the law

Expalined at my post too so violence can be happen in any level, culture or religion and not base of that but it back to human itself.
And I think religion not for debate cos each people have they own choose so why we can leave & respect it.
