No one who has ever gone through hard times has ever made it out without help from someone.You either had friends and family or were given subsidies for free day care and subsidized housing.When you were out of food you went to food banks or people who you know helped you out by giving you food.Even working two minimum wage jobs will not get your head above water when you factor in all of your bills.

What about the women walking out and leaving their children? It is not just men. It seems like everyone is all for hanging the dead beat fathers. But should we ignore all the many women that do same thing? No parent should be allowed to just skip

If the bottom has truly fallen out of someones world then you would need some help to get back up.
I'm not talking about someone who has the money to pay for all they need already,who have friends and family,ex's who pay alimony and child support,but someone who is alone with no one to turn too.
Many people are lucky and their cases are not complicated by extra problems.

Happygolucky4u: Actually they do loose their drivers license when they are a few months behind. And if they are found can be arrested till they come up with a little bit of money as a down payment on child support owing. And it does not matter when the child turns of age you still get to collect the back child support. The problem is with the collecting. They do not make finding these runaway abandoning parents a priority and then these children are suffering with their needs not being met It should not be that way.
Well, and the worst part is, Its the mothers that get blamed for it
