bodleing: Just had a look at your profile and I noticed you've put you're looking for an activity partner although I suspect you are not aware of what this generally means. I put that on my profile when I first joined as I was looking for a climbing/walking partner. Little did I know this was not the kind of activity most people assumed I meant and the strange mail I received for a while confirmed that. Needless to say, I soon changed that on my profile.
Really G.?
I thought the intimate encounter option covered that and would always assume activity partner to mean for activities such as you have mentioned.
Personally I dont contact people with either options as I am a lazy wagon

I have tried to be polite and say no thanks and sometimes give reasons, and even wish them luck in their search, but than I get "Thank I know this will work" or something to the effect. They DON'T GET IT. So most of the time I do not answer, Much easier and very to the point.
But it would be nice to have a book with not interested lines.
Glatlol: Have seen people post this a few times and am left wondering, who are these women and how do they attract the mails? If it wasnt for the scammers I would never have mail lol.
I'm not just guessing, though. I actually made some half-assed attempt to research the question.
As you'll see from the Vote Breakdown there, women claim to receive many many more emails (including obvious scammers) than men claim to. As evidence goes, it is only anecdotal, yes, but better than no evidence at all.
As for your own cobwebbed inbox, I will be happy to email you myself, if you like?
Dagosto: There's little they could do that wouldn't amount to making this a pay site. As long as it remains free (Yay! Woohoo!), they must depend on advertising revenues to support all our tomfoolery ( ). To attract advertiser dollars, they must attract as many viewers -- members -- as possible. So every bozo scammer that opens a membership just to pester you with pleas to join them at their y,a,h,o,o, addy is in fact lightening the dollar-load on you.
Hi Dag!!!...Good point, but I would think advertisers take that into consideration when buying ad time.......a scam free site would have more appeal to advertisers and to members......everybody wins...word of mouth a most powerful advertising tool......

Hi Dagosto
Yes, I know that you are right.. but Jeez, the scammers are such nuisances.. and I often wonder about the photos.. whose are they... where did they steal them..???
Sometimes I am so tempted to write back and say.. Hey, I love you long time.. Here's a $.. but I have not yet..

Had a quick look and I see what you mean, I would fall into the 20/25 per week on average, however only 1 or 2 are not scammers, so when I say I dont receive much mail I am not including the nonsense from the scammer as its not relevant to actually contacting or meeting someone.
And I always reply to mail, but you can put that to the test if you wish

Playmate4U: I think if someone takes the time to send you an email or message it is only polite to respond even if it is to say no you are not interested
Is there such a thing as email etiquette? or are we expecting too much.
What do you think?
Dear Playmate, Etiquette or the lack thereof is something we either have or not . It doesn't only manafest itself in virtual contact. I think it is something basic in our personalitys or outlook . It also is a good indicator of actual personage . I have found that those that posses a more polite or socialy agreeable aditude tend to be indaviduals I feel most comfortable with and form the more lasting bonds .

Personally I don't feel you need to respond to every single email or flower a person sends to you. It's your choice if you want to reply to an email and or flower. Some people might want a response from you telling them that you’re not interested in them for a friendship or a potential love interest. Some people mightn’t want a response from you telling them that you’re not interested in them for a friendship or potential love interest. Everyone is different.

As I experienced,in general sense there's no ethical code of practise. Now days the Society is in a moral decadency, there's a little room for decency n respect, however, whoever write to me,I reply with a decency n respect they deserve .I reply even to the scammers with the words to;"Piss-off"!
