robplum: Seems a lot of money, when a return ticket flying Thai Air during December is quoted at B$29,340.00 THBs which on todays rates = AU$939.54 AUDs.
That's not even a cheap ticket, there are quite cheap ticket shops in Bangkok so I hope for his sake Daggyone is not getting scammed
there's also the cost of the potential spouse visa for a 9 month stint

Yeah and/or, she would need enough cash in her pocket on arrival, to show customs she could support herself throughout the length of her visa.

Go for it ladies.

I don't think I've only just found singleness, the last 14 months seem like a lifetime alone.
I think guys need a woman besides them more so than women need a guy. JMO

Yes I think most men dont feel complete unless they have a woman by their side and in their bed.
