CS was the first chat forum I joined - that was last year - i loved the chats - the dynamics have changed but when i rejoined recently I was pleasantly surprised to be welcomed back by friends i had made last year - One thing i do notice is that the time difference and daylight saving does have its effect - being three hours behind you eastern sea boarders means you are all chatted up and chasing zzzz's by the time i get here. Winter does have its benefits when it comes to chat forums interstate.Kristia49: Not anymore, sometimes people pretend to be someone they are not.So i'm going to give up for awhile, concentrate on renos on the house, that'll keep me busy.

I agree Wystie, the time difference means there arent as many to respond online and as such sometimes posts get missed as other threads are commented on.

I guess you are right honey about time differences but I would say you were lucky on your return greetings some have been treated with disdain in so forums I have known...It's just human nature where some people click in a group and that becomes a clique we all have an inate sense of belonging in us hence clubs, organisations etc to staisfy our sens of belonging

Just wasn't meant to be, I'm going to just concentrate on renovating, at the moment, pulling up the carpets, want to put tiles down. I won't have time to think.
AgentAjax: There are seasons and reasons why forums are more active during different months of the year.
Yes just wait for winter and they are flowing again as xmas time and summer, they are slow as people tend to get out and enjoy the summer weather (when there is sun) and dont want to be stuck behind a keyboard

and there's a bloody lot of toads out there to find that prince amongst them all but you just don't give up freominx: This forum is probably dying because the regulars on here ignore any newbies. I have been posting on and off for a while, but most often get ignored, hence why bother posting here, this forum site is very cliquey.

I apologise if one of those person's as don't intentionally ignore people but yes it's true, cliquey is on there and i am admit i have close friends on here but it's not the reason i dont acknowledge or answer posts.
The truth I hardly reply or read much on here these days as I am working full time and mostly out the rest so when do come on here I only actually read a couple of things and reply and am maily off again.
In nz i had time where would be on here and replied to alot of things but not anymore
And will less of me as starting overtime at my job which leaves me no time during weeks anymore but
I have a life so all good

I just stick my head in the door quickly half the time now days. Had a lot of members on here that were really fun... but a percentage got banned and it spoiled the difference of personalities and views on topics.
I have noticed also there is more mature age groups on on here generally now.
