1 - Pick up my trusted cell phone and call the ski lift operator and emergency services.

2 - Call the venue to explain the incident and reschedule our participation in the event at a later hour.

Happygolucky4u: Your honorable most wonderful gorgeous judge I will be out for a few. I will have a friend check in with you while I am out for me. Thank you for being you

The IOC Winter Olympics Committee have deemed this event as blatant corruption of Games Judges............

Our highly esteemed Judge KayBee could never be swayed by such underhanded tactics.

I've heard she prefers older men

Kaybee50: Event - Day 7

Figure Skating

All eyes are on you. This is your moment - the final ice figure skating competition of your life - your last chance at an Olympic medal. Cameras cover you from every angle.

You make sure that your skates are secure and that your costume covers everything it's supposed to cover, as the figure skating committee does not permit any do-overs at this stage of the competition.

You step onto the ice, glide out to the center, strike your pose, and the music begins. You glide left, you glide right, you do a few spins, with complete grace and agility. All seems to be going well.

You build up speed and leap into the air to perform a split jump.

But suddenly your bottom feels cold. The back seam of your costume has ripped and you have a serious wardrobe malfunction. Your bare bottom is completely exposed!

Do you:

A) Continue skating and complete your program.
B) Continue skating, but attempt to cover your exposed bottom with your hands for the remaining 3 minutes of the program.
C) Skate quickly off the ice, with red cheeks, both top and bottom.

Curling.

Refer to page 42 of CS OLYMPICS -3 Thread for accompanying pics. Curling. A heart pounding, nail biting, fast paced, action filled sport. Well, maybe not so fast paced, but it is a sport the leaves many of us scratching us heads.

Curling has its roots in medieval Scotland, involves a great deal of strategy and teamwork, brooms, and snappy fashion choices.

Your team marches onto the ice with brooms in hand and ready to sweep the competition away.

What will your team be wearing?

A) Traditional classic?

B) Unassuming?

C) Hunky beefcake?

D) Dazzle them with brillance?

E) American inspired polyester?

B. Unassuming..... apart from the black, brimmed conical hat, of course - goes so well with the broom! grin

I'll go for practical and functional first and foremost any day. With that in mind I could not care less what it looks like. Beauty lies in the details of simplicity.
I go for 'B' unassuming.

Catibrae: Hi everyone and most honoured judge....

Before team Ireland went up in the gondola, we were asked by the Olympic organisers to be the main event in the closing ceremony of the Olympics. As we are all sporty and ready to have a go at anything, team Ireland said yes....

On our agreement we were issued with wing suits (aka flying squirrel suits) designed to look like leprachauns including hats. The Olympic Committee thought this was a wonderful idea for all the CS teams to jump off the gondola's in there squirrel suits in order of medals. Ireland being Ireland was last, so we were the only team to get there suits.

Up we went and right on queue, the gondola stops, an edge of excitement takes over as we peel off our ski suits to reveal out flying squirrel (leprachaun design) suits and made our way to the door. On feeling the bracing wind in our suits, we held hand and jumped, screaming all the way down to the event, where we were just in time to start our decent on the slopes.

Not exactly how I remember it.
Dressed as mythical creatures we were but I don't remember the leprechaun.
One went as a garden gnome, another as a fairy, one as a fluffy pink prancing unicorn but I can't remember the last creature.
