If someone tries to scam you like that, being mean should be the least of your worries. Simply cut the tie and be thankful that you've dodged a bullet.

Sell everything you own, empty every bank account and send her the money. She adores you and loves you so much, so don't wait another minute. This way you will sleep better too.

sometimes ya gotta be mean...you don;t have to say anything (thereby not saying anything mean). This person is not owed an explanantion. Block and Delete from all forms of communication and move on. She was scamming you, any more communication via personal email and she could damage your computer or hack financial info. "mean" is not even issue here. She is not a real person. Be Careful. Stop talking and start setting filters, deleting and blocking.
