You may find that some people may see separated, as you still not a free agent. Don't be disheartened if you don't get many replies to your mails due to that.
I'd also follow the advice given by others, and make sure you write a bit more as a mail. I'd also recommend writing a bit more on your profile, as there's practically nothing there that would give an opening question.
For example, most of the mails I get are asking how many coffees I had when I wrote mine, as it makes zero sense.

OP there have been numerous threads on here from mostly men, complaining about not getting replies to their messages. Monte was simply stating that those emails we get with comments like "hi there" are the kinds we don't answer because they are pretty pointless. I don;t think she meant to criticise your thread. She was just using it as an example.

I agree. I am divorced and happy. AND will not communicate with men who are "separated" because they are still married...wanting to have their cake and eat it too
I have heard all the excuses for them not being divorced...but if I could accomplish it, anyone can.
